There was slot of support from lecturers. Lots of new areas to eat and work. Always computer space. Never had A problem parking. The careers service was aimed more at business than my course of psychology so it wasn’t that helpful. The SU was off campus with not many events that I know of. Freshers week was good when I did it but doesn’t seem to be promoted that much.

Studying architecture, the department needs to provide a student-friendly studio with seperated seats and working spaces.

Frenchay campus has brand new buildings and excellent laboratory facilities. As a biological sciences student the facilities are important as well as the careers services to me. The career services have drop in sessions regularly that allow you to also have your cv looked over aswell.

Convenient campus with good bus links and close by supermarkets. However, no events on campus that are inclusive of everyone or fresh, so easy to get bored if you don’t like to go out. Teaching was good dependent on the subject.

The course is good and the facilities are available and accessible. The problem is the campus which hasn't got many nice spaces to make me want to spend more time at university.

The University is overall good. The facilities are available and well kept. The campus on the other hand isn't very comfortable and I don't feel like I want to spend much time at uni because of the buildings. Another issue is with attendance from other students which has made it really hard to stay motivated throughout the year.

I do English language and linguistics, it’s a good course and the lecturers are good. Most parts of the uni are old but big new business block and new SU but SU nights are shit now coz it got moved from Tuesday to Saturday and everyone goes into town instead

The university has lots of facilities with lots of support in place of you need it emotionally and academically.

Seems like a lot of money considering all the work is done at home. Needs to be more classes and free printing facilities.

Our uni has three campuses and every of them is so unique and beautiful in their own ways. I’m a interior architecture student , we have an architecture block which equipped with all the facilities every architecture student needs- laser cutting, 3d modeling, technical workshops for metal, timber and concrete. Most importantly, lecturers are very helpful and passionate. Student union is very active by organizing various events to enhance students experience. Career service is good as well, they always answered my questions very quickly when I was away from Bristol doing my placement.

Really good support for study. Facilities are not too old and useful. Really high ranking in Building surveying.

The facilities in the library are great since they were recently upgraded, as is the new business and law block. On the silent study level of the library there is all up to date technology, and even private booths, which makes studying a breeze. Most lectures are recorded but sometimes there are technical difficulties which means they fail and can be annoying. Overall the university is okay.

The university, from the outside and some parts, were nice and modern. However, the other majority of the university was horrible, bland, or still in building which meant constant building noise. Also, lectures were so far away from each other meaning that more often than not, you are late to lectures. Some lecturers were so enthusiastic about what they do, really enabling for student interaction and progression. However, I noticed some lecturers were completely different to others. For example, when doing a one to one, some lecturers gave some people a high score and helped them with questions, yet another lecturer gave others a low score for the exact same answers, whilst also not helping them and being intimidating. I felt like this really restricted student progression.

The more modern parts of campus are brilliant, for example the new business building. It looks neat and the classrooms are nice to work in. It has plenty of toilet facilities, one on each floor, and the canteen is brilliant. The only issue would be that the windows are electric and not one of my teachers knows how to open them so it does get really sweaty in hot weather!! The main block is pretty out dated and does look like it could be smartened up a bit. The library is very big (four floors) but it is always busy, especially around exam season and you will be very lucky to get a seat. The one zone canteen offers a good selection of food, however it is very expensive for what it is. Considering it is a uni canteen the prices are ridiculous, especially the sandwiches!

Started my course 3 months ago and couldn’t say bad word at the moment! The facilities are amazing, the teachers seems nice as well! The course is very organised. Not sure about the student union or careers services. However, apparently the uni has one of the best wellbeing services in uk!

Currently studying psychology, staff are great and informative. Easy to get in touch if you need extra support and the uni’s support services in general are awesome.

I'm a first year degree international student studying Biomedical Science at UWE Frenchay campus. I did my foundation year here and so far, almost everything here is great. I especially love the student support here, particularly in the careers service. They genuinely help you with any career plans or problems you have, like industrial placements and internships. In fact, they encourage their students to do them. Other than that, I love the facilities here. And they constantly upgrades them over the summer which is great. The gym here is fantastic as well, they have all the things you need. Compared to other gyms in Bristol, the membership is cheap. The only problem here though, is the expensive food and other products at the cafeteria and student union shops.

The uni is lovely, really supportive lecturers and nice people. Organisation could be slightly better but overall a good place to be

The facilities in this University are very good. The library is huge with 4 floors and loads of seating! However there are other PC rooms you could go to in other blocks at the campus which is a plus for students! Gym is well maintained and very good! Career services in this University is very helpful and very keen to help you with your CVs and other stuff regarding your career in the future.
