I think this university is great in terms for the environment which is very quiet and relaxing. The facilities here are good, there have student union shop and bar within the campus which is very convenient. As for my course, my lecturers are good in explaining the lectures and help us out when needed, thumbs up for this. I really like the library atmosphere this university has provided, the study environment is also very good, there have computer room, silent study area and also group study area. Overall, University of the West of England is a very ideal choice for further developing your learning.

The facilities is top notch, helpful staff to give you guidance when needed. Learned a tons in the fabrication, love the people around, lovely environment. Wish I have more time in the uni to try out everything they provide, will miss the place so much.

My university does offer state of the art facilities from my course in architecture. However many of the lecturers are uninspiringand at many times patronising. The university is also incredibly stingy. With students having to pay for their own printing and basic materials necessary for the course. Offers no trips abroad as part of the course. And even though the uni is a city edge campus, offers no free or discounted bus pass for its students. There are no free sporting facilities on campus such as games courts or fields. Any use of sport facilities requires payment.

Everything are on campus which is quite handy when you need to get to somewhere else in uni. Most of the building should renovate it as it is getting a bit old

Good university, has good student support and advisors as well as learning facilities available to all students at all times. Lecture halls are comfortable and classrooms are a good size

This university is in a great location that has only a 30 min bus journey to the center. It also has 3 campus shops for essentials, many cafes, an SU with great nightlife and amazing support from lecturers.

Great uni! Might not be the greatest size or "as good as UoB" but its great for the right course! Its inclusive and the people are always up for a good laugh.

An amazing uni full of life and it is a beautiful campus which caters for many. There are many great facilities which are great for everyone. I have loved staying in halls and even when times have got tough accommodation people were amazing! I would truly recommend going to Uwe! The staff are all kind and the buildings are all beautifully designed and the uni cover so many different courses to cater for everyone’s interests. The uni have great sports facilities and at a good price! There are many societies of which anyone can join such as netball, cheerleading and physiology etc. It is an incredible uni and I would definitely recommend it!

Glenside campus does not have many social activities or host anything to enhance the nightlife on campus. Needs more facilities and newer accommodation.

The campus is big and it’s easy to get lost, but you can find there everything you need - from medical centre to a bank. OneZone is a great place to hang out during breaks between lectures, good quality food in a reasonable price with nice music accompanying. The courses are generally interesting and creative, however that depends mostly on the lecturer. UWE stopped in the 20th Century when it comes to technological advance - computers are old, it is not easy to print something (not many printers and complicated software), fire alarm is going on quite often but everyone is used to that and no one really reacts. I haven’t used the career service but I know from my friend that it is very helpful, staff is happy to help with career advising, CV’s, motivation letters etc. The student union has a modern building, there is an always occupied ping-pong table which is a great idea. It’s a great place to hang out and meet interesting people. My overall experience is good but I perceive a lack of organization of the university. It his hard to get, for instance, a document needed to open a bank account as no one from staff knows what to do diverting students to other offices.

University is okay, but there is a lot to improve like student facilities and the uni should test all the lecturers properly before recruiting because most of them are crap ! Can’t understand

The facilities are very good, I am based in the new business building and every room is great. The halls are superb, and all of campus is kept very clean, and feels very friendly.

It's a pretty good university. Bristol is a great city and the different campuses allow you to explore the city in different parts although Frenchy campus is quite cutoff from the centre of Bristol. Overall I would recommend.

Great campus, great lecturers only things which could be improved is to not put lectures on when there are important events (master's students have lectures on Wednesday afternoon) and the car parking!

It's a bit of a mess really, tutors are always confused with projects and do not communicate with lecturers. The lectures are very very slow, everything said in 2 hours could easily be said in 15 minutes. A few of the staff can be complelty patronising making you feel as if you're in a primary school.

Lots of activities including a cheap student bar on campus, lock in is a definite no as you’ll be the only person there however £1.50 pints don’t even make up for that

All of the lecturers are very helpful and knowledgable in their respectice areas. They keep lectures fun while still providing us with all the required information. There is a good balance between tutorials, lectures and practicals. There are lots of actibities tl take part in through the students union, more than I had expected.

The university isn't all 5 star new luxury buildings or state of the art accommodation, however the library provides everything you require to pass your course from books, DVD to models of the brain. Majority of the staff here are always willing to help
