Reviewing the city centre campus. The bower ashton campus is now being renovated but is really outdated and is somewhere I definitely haven't wanted to spend much time. If my course wasn't at the Arnolfini it would be a whole different matter! They got rid of a large section of my courses' dedicated floor (for about 250+ students) in the Arnolfini to cram in another course instead of the amount of room there is at bower Ashton for them, now there are too many people studying at Arnolfini and not enough facilities like computers and DEFINITELY printers. These facilities could be much improved and any students coming to study need to be aware they can get very difficult to use during deadline period as there are not enough to cater for the volume of students there are.

The university teaches the course sufficiently. However, in terms of encouraging socialising within environments, this is not the case especially for design students who have to only work in limited areas as on the situated PCs have design programs. Long walking distances as well and lack of social environments is a big issue in getting people to make new friendships and have a healthy University life.

The teaching staff are great when they teach their modules but when they cover for each other there's some real random tasks with no real relevance, SU is responsive and clean, little price.

The university i attend i enjoy that fact that it is campus based. not only the campus but how easy it is to navigate the city as well as how student friendly the city is. I study Law so enjoy being able to get out and about when i'm not studying.

At university i study marketing, this means i study in the new business and law building. It is an amazing place to learn with up to date technology as well as a nice environment to be in. My teachers are not only great at giving lectures but are also very helpful in the way that there 'door is always open'. This is so beneficial to my learning and also makes me feel like the teacher care about me and the other students.

All the facilities are quite nice, the course has a clear structure and it is easy to follow. I am an international student and I have been given help when i needed it. One of the issues I find is the bus service, sometimes a bus schedules for a certain hour doesn’t appear or comes late causing my inpunctuality.

I studied nursing at uwe so my experience wasn’t the typical uni experience. Glenside campus is nice but I wouldn’t recommend if you are after going out all the time. The course itself is okay. I personally prefer being on placement as I feel that is the best way to learn and occasionally I felt the lectures where just teaching us random stuff to fill the time and it wasn’t actually relavent. I have however met some great people and have had fun.

The Campus is top Quality, all buildings have a modern interior and new buildings continuously are being added, in my 4 years at UWE i have witnessed the Students Union building be built, the Business and Law building be built and the plans be accepted for an engineering building to be constructed swell as walls court student accommodation be made. the nightlife alongside the university is amazing with many great clubs such as motion, lakota and blue mountain.

Decent campus and facilities, glenside campus could be made more modern, but is clean. Lots of contact hours on physio course which is good. Free printing at the library is helpful

Quality university with good facilities and with a good learning environment. Lots of renovation is being done which is bringing the uni facilities more into the modern day. Good content provided during the course which is interesting and enjoyable. A lot less contact time in year 2 than year 1 which came as a surprise.

Experience in Uwe could be very different depending on what degree you pursue. Architecture for one is quite hard and I find that the university has too much students and not enough space for us, some universities you have your own desk, seeing how they have invested in the new law building and now an engineering block they should extend the building. The staff available is terrible and not helpful at all, when they cannot help you they just shrug it off with the excuse that in uni you teach yourself. Some tutors are helpful but not all. The actual campus is nice and there are many interesting places, I lived on campus in my first year and found my experience worth it in the campus life where there were many opportunities to make friends.

A lot of options for different societies, something for everyone, fun course, lots of help you can get, nice area, however it is far from the city centre.

Course needs a bit more excitement. The teachers need to explain things better, and i think blackboard is a poorly put together system/website

The campus is great, really easy to get around - not too big and well signposted. The facilities are great, but I haven’t made much use of them. The SU is also great, cheap drinks and pool tables. The course is the best part - the lecturers are great and the content is interesting. The organisation beats that of most of my other peers who attend university... from what I hear

In my final year I can say I am dreading leaving Uwe behind. Amazing university all round. I would say that students should be told to stay clear of black pear lettings when looking for housing in second and third years. They made my second year very stressful and I would have liked to know how bad they are

3rd year accounting and finance In general I like the structure of my course, staff are super friendly and helpful. The uni has lots of days with employers, careers fairs which we are all encouraged to go to. Additional support with applying for jobs and writing CV e.g. Careers Toolkit. This all helped me to look into more career prospects and developed a more detailed understanding of my subject, However, I believe contact hours aren't enough in third year and timetables need better organisation. Huge gaps or too man lectures/tutorials back to back.

I have really enjoyed studying at the UWE so far. The business school, where most of my classes are, is spaceous and modern.

Everyone is very helpful, the university is focused on helping students in whatever they need. The students union is also a very helpful organisation.

The learning facilities are excellent as well as the lecturers. The library is open 24hrs. The campus is huge and even has club night on Tuesdays. What more could you ask for?

I think the University is a great social hub and I'm currently enjoying my studies. The campus and my living halls are modernised and fit with superb amenities. The student union offers great food at a cheap price and also activities for all.
