The uni is an amazing place to study where I have found many friends and love overall. I believe it is a amazing area that consists of social and physical attractions.

Overall Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) has been a massive disappointment for me. The offers of equality and diversity that are expressed to me before university are not matched in reality. As a student who suffers with mental health problems, the university doesn’t really take that into consideration very much. They have their moments but do not deliver the support that they say they do in their prospectus

Really good university with all the help you could need. The tutors go out their way to help and the people make it worthwhile. You become part of a wide family and this makes the uni experience amazing!

It’s amazing I don’t know why you would go anywhere but Hallam. The people there are so friendly and make you feel so welcome.

Great uni, great location. Great staff. Love the fact that you can access support when needed to help with your assignments. And the location is great for food and stuff in breaks between lecturss

Love this University, I’m at collegiate campus so I’m up at the less busier side of the uni. We get so much help and support there it’s a pleasure just going to uni.

Bloody good uni, knows how to have fun, teach efficiently and effectively and has lots of resources!

Collegiate campus is great for my course. Great facilities including gymnasium, sports conditioning suite, sports hall, movement studio. Course is great and better than I expected as it exceeds all expectations with teaching and practicals.

The organisation on my course has been very poor. Feedback is asked for but then we get shouted at about the feedback which was given... The facilities which the uni have to offer are superb

The campuses are both great, collegiate campus is pretty really & leafy. Library facilities always very good. The careers service are super helpful and regularly available by an easily bookable appointment. The lecturers on my specific course are absolutely amazing, really supportive and encouraging. Sheffield is an amazing city and so having such a good positive university experience here is great.

Sheffield Hallam University has an incredible campus, both in terms of the building which is modern and the location which is in the middle of the town centre, making it an easily accessible place for all students.

Hallam has great facilities which are constantly being developed, a new building seems to show every year. The courses are great but they could have better academics.

The campus is great , with loads of places to sit down , relax , do work or just eat. It’s an amazing place to be at. The student unions is a nice place to just have a catch up with your mates and feel at home.

Both campus' have really great facilities, although at first finding ones way around City campus can prove difficult. Facilities provided (in comparison to other unis) are fairly basic, however there are lots of opportunities in the city centre if the facilities arent covered via the university. The course itself is interesting but not challenging, yet its a laugh.

Hallam is a place with a great community feel that orientates around a sense of belonging through things like varsity. The SU is there to provide other opportunities for Students and has been the main part of my university experience that I wouldn't ever change

Really good if you don’t do a foundation degree. They’ll take your money and use power points from 3 years ago, and reference Wikipedia

I think the uni buildings need to be updated. The architecture department doesn’t have a specific section for it. The food over the Christmas period was so nice but I don’t know what they do normally

There are two campuses, each are as functional and supportive for my needs. City campus is larger and more efficient, however Collegiate is a beautiful campus in a good location. The staff are very helpful and respond to any questions or queries within three days. This is a very effective tool for updating students on what they need to know. The feedback on essays are very effective.

The university is great but there could be improvements made such as getting more computers and better toilet facilities. The overall atmosphere is great.

The university's campus is large and laid out in a manner that is easy to negotiate and accommodates all types of learning. The student union is small but is generally lively and a great place to socialise and also offers employment opportunities for students. Careers services are easily accessible and extremely helpful for everyone from 1st years to graduates. The university's organisation is generally amazing especially when focusing on timetabling and work loads as the work is ewually spread across each semester with no conflicting deadlines and lectures spread evenly so there are no 9 till 5 days

all the campuses are super nice and all the tutors are really supportive and friendly, the course is really well set out. the main downfall of the uni is the students union as I feel there are not many social events that happen there and have only been once in my two years of being at shu
