Small compact campus that has everything you need including a 24 hour library and lodes of cheap cafes for students to use. Plenty of up to date facilities with the lastest technology. There is huge career support as well as volunteering and placement. The team provide free sessions to help with CV as well as interviews.

I went to Plymouth university for 4 years. I did my 3 year degree here but loved it so much I stayed for my Masters degree. I couldn't really fault a lot. The library was amazing. Open 24/7 and had so many resources. The SU was great - I spent most nights out here as it is a great environment with cheap drinks. Would 10/10 recommend.

Campus is easy to get around, I studied Psychology, most of the lecturers are very easy to get in contact with and give good presentations.

It's a good university for modern subjects, like engonengine - phycology. There are some issues that I think most places have. Some of the lectures don't seem to be as organised as they should be, but they are more than welcome to help. Only about 5-10% of the lectures are like this, but it can massively of out you from understanding the topic and module they're teaching.

It's an amazing university has a wide range of courses, with experienced lecturers teaching the courses.

Starting of with the campus, it is lovely and spaced out. It is never over crowded and never cramped. The facilities including the 24hour library is amazing and it becomes very useful if you have a deadline coming up! The student union is also one of the best I have been in with two good sized bars with many pool tables. The student union always has events on which is a great way to socialise and meet new people or to catch up with some course mates!

The campus is in a fantastic location right in the centre of the city. A large shopping centre is located within 500 metres of the which is great for clothes purchases. Lots of small supermarkets such as Tesco express and Sainsbury's local are also located nearby. I study business management and this is a fantastic course for anyone looking to start their own business or work in a large organisation in the future. The university is also very modern and the library has just been refurbished and now includes iMac computers and a small cafe. The university is also all located in a very close area all on one campus which means it's not far to access any lecture hall if you live nearby.

Specific to my course: dentistry, I think plymouth university offers many facilities and opportunities that you wouldn't get elsewhere, the main benefit being that we are on clinic and treating real patients from first year, allowing us to gain experience so early on in the course. I think its very important to gain these clinic and manual skills from the start as these skills take years to master and so when we graduate we will be more confident in a clinical environment as we will have been exposed to it for so long.

It's a good uni, with a great student feel! Lots of great fresher events, close to the city centre! The course is okay, needs better organising! However, there is a great support system here for mental health and studies!

Great uni, in the city centre close to everything but also 10 mins from the sea and the hoe. Modern and everything is a few mins walk max.

overall plymouth is a good university which offers a range of opportunities and advice for both your degree and for your future after your degree.

Everything at the uni has been really good so far, I have quite severe dyslexia and they have been really accommodating and helpful.

The campus is fantastic, with a range of old and new buildings and an amazing underground student union. It is located in the middle of town and close to bars, clubs, shops and all amenities. The staff are helpful and the courses are informative.

I love that our university is a whole campus. Everything is together. Easy to find out what's going on plus there's always something going on! Easy to meet new friends and over all the atmosphere is one of a kind in here in Plymouth. My course is one of a kind the uni is great will always promoting and helping go on to big and better things after we graduate from here.

I think it is a good university and very good for socialising and meeting new people. The student union is very good and events are held regularly. There are a lot of interactive activities to go to and take part in and these are effectively communicated to students. Main downside of the university is that it is not very modern when compared to other universities in regards to designs. Some buildings are very outdated and should be updated for a more appealing appearance which could potentially be attractive for new potential students.

I have loved my time at Plymouth university. It has gone too quick but I would happily go back to freshers week in first year. My course has been great and I have made loads of great friends.

V good university with nice campus and location, amazing trips to the sea and suchlike. The students are a great bunch of people and the nightlife is some of the best I've ever known

The university always helps cater to all of their students needs and really help out each student. The lecturers are all so in touch with the students and are willing to help with their work.

Plymouth university has a great campus, majority of the buildings are modern. There is a variety of cafes, and restaurants within the campus, with great selection of food. The library is modern and spacious. However I find my tutor not to be as helpful or supportive as I would have hoped.

Living in Plymouth and studying here has been the best time of my life. I've become a lot more sociable and thus come out of my shell. I am a lot happier and more confident, I have made a lot of amazing friends already. I'm loving life and studying my dream course.

Time here was short but sweet. It's a friendly university and all the campus's are more a less in the same area (also close to town). Parking is very hard there though. Everything you need is on site. There are often events and stalls at the communal square outside the library. Lecture halls and some buildings are outdated but there was a lot of work going on when I was there and I believe they are in the process of upgrading parts. As for the city, you have great places for cocktails on the barbican and close to a seaside. Overall I enjoyed my time here and was offered many opportunities which I could sign myself up for. The university also offer great support with careers and wellbeing support- I have no bad thing to say about it!

I study Occupational Therapy at Plymouth Uni. The staff are incredibly helpful and informative and the facilities outstanding. The student union is so good, with both daytime and nighttime activities and an endless amount of societies.

I actually go to Plymouth College of Art. My course is the BA Painting, Drawing and Printmaking degree. So far I have enjoyed it so much! The course is inspiring and the facilities are amazing. We have double height ceilings and open spaces where we can collaborate with other students of all levels. The student union could be a bit larger, as compared to the university we have almost no clubs or societies. Overall I would definitely recommend coming here if you want a career in art.
