I love Plymouth University. The location is superb for my course and the lecturers are the top of their field. The student life here is fantastic with so many things to get involved in. Coming here was the best decision.

I’m so much happy studying at Plymouth university all learning facilities are provided. The students union is absolutely amazing and so friendly. Well so far I haven’t had any experience with anyone in the University and I feel at home The career service is wonderful and they’re willing to help

Great facilities at campus, nice buildings, lecture theatres, etc. Student Union is great and library is huge! Great activities organised in the SU and also in the Nancy Astor Centre.

I honestly couldn’t have chosen a better uni to attend. Ever since the open day I have loved Plymouth Univerisity. The vibe, the place, the students! Even my course. I have had the most amazing time. It is such a central university, you don’t need to travel anywhere and the main town is so close. The nightlife is good and you always feel really safe. Being a student at plymouth university is like having a second family, you can talk to anyone and become friends for years! The university itself put on so many events, both social and educational to help you further your career. They take such good care of their students and have facilities that I know many other univeristies don’t. After almost finishing my final year, I don’t want to leave. And I think that speaks volumes.

Really nice, modern campus which is compact and easy to get around. Wide selection of halls on and off campus. Really good opportunities for part time work and lots of support offered by different teams.

Amazing. I’m doing economics and the help given by faulty is amazing. This university really does help you to be the best that you can be. I would highly recommend to anyone that is looking to go here.

I love my course at university, it is well regarded in the rankings and offers a range of topics to learn about within the environmental science genre. The students union is a laugh when with mates but there could be plenty more social events for students - it can feel a bit seperated. They have great facilities over all but could do with more sports facilities.

Course not very well structured and teaching isn't great on some modules. However the teachers are very friendly and student union is great with alot of society's to join. Also lecture theaters are a bit small and not much space for a person to sit and write notes

Plymouth is very student based city and everything is very centralised and accessible as a student. They have a great student union and good facilities on site. The town isn't too busy and doesn't enjoy the appeals of a bigger city with less going on

Plymouth University is a good non russel group university for a range of courses. ASA studying at the institution for 2 years now I have come across a number of positives and negstives. The positives includes a unique range of editing suites and other Technologies (e.g IVT). The negatives in poor organisation, add support for students aiming to find careers and the facilities.

Overall my university experience has been very good due to the facilities and help I get from staff and lecturers. The only drawback I think would be aspects in regards to my course. I am in my final year at the moment and it has been quite hectic. Lecturers left in the summer which meant that the uni desperately searching for covers. For that reason our course became very rushed and unorganised, however it’s slowly getting better now it’s nearing the end. I hope it does not happen again in future as this makes student stress more.

Best 3 years of my life. Could not fault the university in an anyway. When I first started I was nervous as I was going in on my own with no one that I knew but the course did an introduction week. This made it my experience so much better as I got the chance to meet some amazing people that I would not of done if I didn’t go to univiersty.

The Uni meets all basic needs. There are many career fairs and opportunities. The facility that helps you with job interviews are quite god. Library could be updated with more recent books.

Campus facilities are good everything is close enough to walk. Lectures can be long some I have are 4 hours without break which can be a little heavy but overall good!

Campus good but a few old tatty concrete buildings. Facilities good but no sports facilities and very poor funding from the su for sports. Su is good, has a range of nights from open mic live music to club nights. Careers service excellent and very helpful. Organisation could be better with some lecturers but that's the same at any uni.

Parts of the campus very modern, however some very old looking concrete buildings, all facilities inside are relatively modern and usable. Engineering course is good, a few inconsistent lecturers but that's the same with any course anywhere. Su is good with many different event on different nights of the week ranging from open mic to club nights. Careers service have been excellent in my hunt for a placement offering guidance and possible placements. Overall very happy with Plymouth. Only thing majorly letting down is sports facilities... No facilities and terrible funding from the su

Great campus Everyone is very friendly Library is well stocked and open 24/7 Very close to town and sea front Very good facilities like the life science resource centre in psq

The university layout itself is central yet the buildings are so high and laid out in such a way that the wind gets channeled through meaning any rain or high winds causes havoc, especially when carrying work around. Studying architecture I understand an unhealthy work ethic can be created by having 24/7 studio acess but it is very frustrating when you are in the middle of a model and get forced to leave the building at midnight. Also limited acess to the facilities such as 3D printer and laser cutting isn’t allowed at weekends, and when the deadline is a Monday this is awfully frustrating.

being by the sea is the best part. the campus isn’t horrifically huge and it’s right in the city centre. i love my course as it offers variety and flexibility
