Amazing food on Division Street and Ecclesall Road, great nights out at the Sheffield SU, along West Street and elsewhere! Very close to Meadowhall which has a huge variety of shopping options.

Such a beautiful chilled out city! Sick nights out for every kind of music taste, town centre has all the best shops, everywhere is student friendly and pretty cheap.

Nights out are really good, but not a lot to do in the day. Good value for money, but Sheffield is a really small city and Hallam Scum are everywhere

Nights out are good, student deals can be quite cheap for different places so there is normally at least one place with a student night any day of the week. Lots of the shops are locals so not a whole load of stuff but can manage quite well.

More clubs than you can count! Easy access to taxis and uber are available in this area. Many shops in the city centre however not very many around student accomdation.

Cheap as hell, lovely people and good degree options. There are good options for nights out, whether you want pubs, clubs or something a bit different. Sheffield is the full package.

Eyyy what’s happening kids Sheffield is a fun place for all the family - from your hometown bad boys to your edgy cousin from Leeds. Wide variety of nights out mostly within walking distance of both university housing areas. Good food places for both night and day (even a curry place open till 5am). Plenty of vintage shops to get your dopey streetwear. Big fat libraries to play hide and seek in. Super cheap everywhere it’s like living in an LEDC! Public transport is supposedly really good but not all that accessible in student areas - just use Uber though.

Amazing city, love everhtbing about it, been here for two years studying at university and can’t complain at all!

Great nights out on both weds and Saturdays (and any nights) pop tarts and roar best two nights out going, finished off with West Street live and a kebab at Aslans or Curry at Balti King, a cheap pint, a great city, what’s not to love?

Better than a night out in Liverpool, Manchester and St. Helens. Lots of food and sainsbury shops but very hilly, gives your calves a workout

Night life in Sheffield is really good with lots of nights out for everyone. Great independent restaurants, the rent is fairly cheap.

Nights out are good compared to a small town, bit overrated and depending on location may need to get a bus there (from Endcliffe student village.) Food is good (Aslans kebabs and lots of nice restaurants.) Lots of shops/activities. Good value for money if you look in the right places.

Fantastic city with loads of fantastic bars and clubs that have lots of different events going on . I Couldn't think of a better city to live in!
