Hull University is a very friendly and happy place to study. The staff are very supportive and informative, and the university is always communicating with you about the student union, events and your course. They are always asking for feedback to improve upon the facilities and teaching. There are loads of sports clubs and societies to join. The campus is small so easy to find lectures, and very pretty.

24 hour library is excellent, and there is an online set up for timetables which is really good. They have also created an online resource for healthcare students( pebblepad). The uni is set out well with multiple places to eat and get drinks. My course is very placement heavy which is great for learning but a little tough on the financial side.

Overall I have been dissatisfied with my course (primary PGCE). The organisation of everything has been abysmal and I could not name you one person of the course who happy with organisation. When finding out our placements throughout the course we were not informed of where we were placed until one week before we were due to arrive. This led to many problems with where people were placed, with some placed 35-40 miles away when another person lived 3 miles from the very same place. Some lectures are of benefit, but due to the lectures being three hours long, they drag put with very little information being given. It seems that the lecturers are given three hours of lecture time with only two hours of content and feel the need to feel all of the time.

Such a great uni, with marvellous views all around campus. All the lecturers are so understanding, smart and interesting and the library is a whole new world! I love my university!

I was at the University of Hull, Scarborough campus. The uni halls were great and it felt as though everyone knew everyone. The facilities were limited but that was because it was a small campus. There wasn't a great deal of social events organised but there were enough student night's out in the town centre to keep everyone happy. The learning environment was good. Thr food on campus wasn't too good but overall i emjoyed my time at the campus.

The campus is very beautiful and very well looked after. The facilities on campus are brilliant: everything from places to eat, to a nightclub, to sports centres and a shop. The students union is extremely helpful and nothing is too much for them.

The campus is very beautiful, always cleaned and nice. The library is amazing and you have all the facilities you need to study, from books to computers and laptops, including loads of seating areas. Quite everyone on campus is open to help, from teachers, career services and service desks.

A wide range of courses and new ones added too. The lecturers are great and are always on hand to explain in a way in you can understand in order to achieve. Plenty of facilities including its own gym, night club, bar, food hall. Huge library which as an observatory on the top floor giving a huge view of the city. The campus is easy to get to with plenty of buses going towards its location. Lovely and welcoming Student Union. A lovely and welcoming place with plenty to do

The campus is very well located not far away from the town, but also not to near, making it easily accessible from various places and less crowded. There is a large number of good cafes that offer a wide range of food and drinks at very reasonable prices. The students union is very well organized with very friendly staff always willing to help, but also very engaged students. In my course the people are very much involved in seminars and lecturers, motivating everyone. The lecturers are very good in explaining and structuring the lectures in an exciting and educating way. In addition they are always willing to help. The accommodations are very good in terms of food, staff and services provided. The best things about the University of Hull are the careers services. There are a very large number of workshops, explaining e.g. how to write an outstanding CV, but also how to make good impression in a interview for a job. The staff for the careers adivce is always very helpful, well trained and full of experience.

I love the layout of the campus. The buildings are a mixture of old style what you expect from a university building but also modern, all with modern interior and technology so you get the best of both worlds. I study criminology with forensic science and find it fascinating. The lecturers are very helpful and informative and deliver interesting lectures. The students union has everything you need, help points, a shop, a Starbucks, multiple eateries and bars! My academic experience has been great and I wouldn't have wanted to spend it anywhere else
