Nice location, it's good that the area feels student orientated even though it's in London. They could be better organized as I have had modules disappear from my timetable then blamed when I'm not there.

Met some great people and lifelong friends. Very good location and support in terms of well-being is great too - esp since having a difficult first year.

Goldsmiths is a great university full of diverse and creative people. The campus is really nice as it feels like a real community, it has a big green in the middle of campus which makes the university feel more enclosed. All the buildings on campus are great, they are mostly all very modern and up to date. I am studying psychology which is a really interesting subject, that I would reccomend to anyone. The student union is good, the bar have really cheap drinks. I think the societies could be improved at goldsmiths. Some of the societies are fantastic like the hockey, it has lots of training and lots of socials as well, I would really recommend joing a sports society as it is a great way to meet new people. The area that goldsmiths is in is a really buzzy area with lots of cafes and resteraunts.

Goldsmiths, University of London is a brilliant university. The buildings are a mix of old and new, and are fully accessible. There are good facilities and spaces to eat, read, learn and socialise. The teachers really care about their students. They are professionals themselves and students have a lot to learn from them. The university is generally a friendly environment and a nice place to be. My course is intriguing and interesting. I particularly like when I'm able to study 'option modules' and feel that I do best this way because I am really enjoying what I'm writing and learning about.

The joint honours has issues as the two departments currently are not communicating well and it is almost like doing two degrees at once. However, this is being worked on so I am hopeful that the course will get better.

General atmosphere is good and I enjoy the lectures. Teaching is great but would like more support from tutors. Some of the buildings feel a bit old and run down but nice campus overall. I enjoy that it has a green and lots of open spaces despite being a London university.

Love the vibes here. Diverse and very nice people everywhere you go. The lecturers don't just stand and talk. Lectures are full of engagement. There is always something extra going on. You'll often find something which interests you greatly. Also the area is fantastic. Lots of high street shops and discounts everywhere. All types of food options to eat. Library is open 24 hours and the staff are so friendly. Students are so friendly, making friends within your course and outside is so easy! Huge variety of clubs you could join. It's a lovely university. One campus but large and facilitates all.

My experience in the Goldsmiths University is positive overall. Only part to improve more is the organization. Student Union is amazing, and there is a nice variety of groups to join.

This university has a good reputation, and I don’t know what for. The admin has been bad from the start of my course, not knowing I was starting until a week before the start date. I received multiple emails about fees not being paid AFTER I had arranged the fee payments termly and they only changed this after I had sent 4 angry worded emails. Most of the tutors I encountered were incredible, passionate about their subject and very good at providing well executed classes, some however, lacked organisation wit one course being completely timetabled over a Facebook group. As far as the environment, the university is situated in a fairly nice place, lots of links to other places but most of the students are completely up themselves. It was a case of not fitting in that made this uni feel as though it was prestigious and above anyone who came from a working class background.

The campus is pretty awesome, the walk to the building is simple and it has a large space with seats everywhere to sit before you enter the uni. There are multiple entrances, and it’s fun to find secret ways in getting to the uni! The facilities are really helpful and I especially love the library as I’ve spent many MANY hours there, they have a room full of Mac computers that you can use, and it allows for quite chatter which is helpful! I feel like the organisation is really great in general and there are many parts of the university that move towards making sure a student is okay during their experience, such as with the well-being centre that I believe really looks to helping a student. All in, the university is a great fit for an arty student!

University looks big and beautiful with a lot of buildings. The library has 3 floors and is very nice even though it’s crowded most of the time. There are cafes on campus and some social space. It has a big green field which must be very cool in spring and summer. My course is politics and IR. I have just finished the first year and so far it hasn’t been satisfying. The amount of time you spend at university (in lectures and seminars) is ridiculously low. Only 8 hours a week with 4 subjects. Some of the lectures and seminars are really nice and informative, some are just boring and uninteresting. However The staff and teachers are really helpful and friendly. Careers services are not the best. There are barely any jobs or internships for particular programmes (like mine). And the organisation is very poor. There was a lot of confusion and lack of information for students in the first couple of months of studies. Overall the uni is fine, but there is plenty of room for improvement. It has a great potential

Goldsmith's is a great uni. They always have things to do on campus and are looking out for the well being of their students. During exam week they offered free tea and toast, pizza Tuesdays and introduced the campus support dog to students. My course was well structured but could have had more class time.

The Students Union is is by far the most valuable and progressive part of Goldsmiths. The university itself, although still buzzing with ambition and wonder from the impressive alumni that have led the way is, as most HE institutions, stuck with incompetent management and a sour attitude for the well-being of ALL students. However, find coursers and lecturers here like no other and emerge your self in some of the most progressive and important research/chatter in London. New Cross is the place to be.

The uni itself is good and so is my specialised department. Within psychology, we had support and experience to prepare us for our final dissertation. Furthermore, there were very useful career services and writing services available. However, some staff were not supportive if yoir research didn't line up with their own.

Goldsmiths is a buzzing community of socially active and aware individuals ready to make a change in the world. The campus is larger than it may seem at first glance especially for a London University. The large grass field in the centre adds a heart to the campus, becoming a lovely place to hang out when having a break on sunny days. Student union tries their best to put on great events. The thing that lets it down is student involvement. Being completely student ran means the scope of possibilities is endless. If you shave the drive you can make whatever you want from it but most don't.

Goldsmiths is a great university that encourages you to be brave, bold and unique. The spaces are big enough and comfortable with a fantastic library full of all the resources you could ever need. The staff are friendly, helpful and some are writers themselves. You actually study some of the works of your tutors through your course. The courses are interesting and are a good balance between theory and practical work, allowing you to be interactive.

Goldsmiths university has been great while studying my psychology degree. The staff and lectures are all very helpful

In a good location for good food and transport. The library is well maintained, easy to use and it's 24hrs. A large range of societies for many and they introduce themselves in freshers week.

Goldsmiths is a very socially inclusive university with a large range of social, ethnic, and financial backgrounds. Some of the lecturers are experts in their industries and it is an amazing chance to learn from them. The facilities are modern and very well equipped for specialist fields as well (e.g. fine arts and photography studios). There are affordable fitness facilities on site and a tennis court with a beautiful view on the green. The careers service however isn’t proactive enough and does not organise enough relevant events from first year to guide students and present them with opportunities and to build the skills employers will be looking for in their industry of choice. The course was very interesting and the lecturers very renown, however I would have liked to be pushed and challenged more and to learn more technical skills in my practice area, photography, i.e. Photoshop and editing skills, which employers actively look for. The Student Union has been involved in too many debacles in the media i.e. Bahar Mustafa’s racist campaign, for which action wasn’t taken rapidly enough in my opinion. Societies and clubs need to gain more recognition and credibility and be better organised.

Wonderful university! Located in South London, it’s accessibility to Greater London is a huge plus however with everything Goldsmiths and South London has to offer, you hardly have to make the trip. Goldsmiths is a hands on, friendly, innovative university with plenty of face to face contact with professors and tutors. The overall feel of Goldsmiths is welcoming and really gives you the impression that there is no wrong answer. Everyone you meet is passionate about their specialty and friendly towards everyone else - it really is a place that breeds creativity in such a harmonious setting. Teaching staff are helpful and hands on, and always available to help. The campus itself is lovely - merging both historical and contemporary aspects. You walk through the main Richard Hoggart Building and find a lovely quiet college green which is surprising to find in London. The library seems very modernised but is sometimes overcrowded. My only reason it hasn’t achieved 5 stars is simply due to some administration confusion. It feels as if information could be more available or more easily accessible than it is at the moment. Other than that, a lovely college with interesting staff in an amazing location!

Great place, has really helped me to develop as a musician and as a person. Nice campus, helpful and hardworking stuff. Not always the most organised but also not the worst for this (having also had experience with the organisational nightmare that is SOAS).

Campus is lovely, quite a small university more like a college layout. Really lovely urban and atmospheric site due to the amount of diversity and culture within the university and plenty of ways to express yourself. My course is okay but not what I expected and I wish that the lecturers would be more helpful.

My course is very well organised and is led by experts in the field. The lecturers and tutors are always available for 1to1 meetings to discuss work. The campus is very nice. The students union is good and they arrange lots of events in both the bar and cafe.
