Great university, good student support. Very fun for nights out... plenty of music venues and pubs with real ales and beers. Would recommend the city

Great town so many places to go out and good value for money in most of the places too. Shopping is pretty good as well. The area is quite crime high plenty of stabbing but still great area to live

I chose my uni partly because I’d heard it was a cool area with lots of bars, pubs and clubs, which I prefer. So I’d definitely say consider that sort of thing when deciding on a uni!

Nottingham nightlife is great, there's also loads of things to keep you busy during the day too! The best thing about Nottingham is the amount of pubs you can choose from, there's modern, sky bars and your classic local. The variety is great!

Great nights out. Different parts of the town for different types of nights. Stealth for house music lace market area for nicer bars and clubs.

The uni has a good student community and the courses are run professionally to create a dynamic degree course. As well as this the uni offer good student support and facilities.

Brilliant city! It doesn't feel too big so that's it's intimidating especially if you're coming from a rural background. There is a wide variety of events that run throughout the year where anyone can find something they enjoy to take part in.

Lovely student city, moved from a small town outside Liverpool and to move into a place where there is so much going on during both day and night time is fantastic! Restaurants as a whole around the city have been brilliant as I am yet to find a restaurant which I have not liked the food and quality. Night life is good but not great with the clubs often very similar although Ocean Wednesdays are some of the best nights out I’ve been on. Everywhere is very accessible with buses running every 7 minutes and also trams are cheap and easy to use.

There are some cheap drinks places. £1 jager bombe atomique some bars. All the different shops do home delivery. Nightlife good.

Good for going out either clubs or bars and pubs. So much choice for food loads of places to go and different types of cuisines to choose from. Shopping is pretty decent particularly for the size of the city. It’s clean and pretty and fairly safe. Good student city

Nottingham is a great city with excellent transport links (plus the cost of a student bus card is super cheap!). However, I am on Sutton bonington campus where there are barely any transport links and it is 10 miles away from university park! This has proved quite irritating to travel to unless you live nearby, which very few people do as there is very little to do near there and taxis home after a night out are extremely expensive.

The nights out in Nottingham are so varied for different people’s tastes. The shopping is amazing and you’re never short of something to do. The bus system is brilliant as you can explore the city for a low cost.

There is a lot of bars which is great. Plenty of places to go and eat. Plenty of places with craft beer and better with Brewdog Bar. A lot of transport around the city.

Nottingham has great, affordable nights out! The shopping is ok and the restaurants are good but would be good to have more options

Nottingham is a great city to live in whilst studying at one of their universities! Close to the city centre so shopping is a must! The wide range of shops in the centre is perfect for all individuals to be able to find what they are looking for! There are plenty of places around Nottingham if you’re looking for somewhere to eat, a wide variety of types of food and types of eateries.

I love Nottingham. As a student, with both Trent Uni and Uni of, it’s very student-orientated. The shopping is amazing and the night life has such a good variety. You can never run out of things to do... there are scenic walks, adventure golf, the theatre, amazing cinemas including the savoy which is one of the oldest standing cinemas and so cheap - ideal for students! It’s also very cheap to live here. And it’s so easy to get around - constant buses that are both cheap and frequent.

The Nottingham uni is easy to access and get to by bus or public transport. Night life and entertainment are good however can be expensive sometimes.

Night outs isn’t good, there isn’t a choice of clubs for everyone. Mostly good for restaurants. Shopping isn’t as good not that many options and shops are small.
