Really nice uni, town is nice enough, house I’m living in at the moment not too nice but next years house is much better. First year accommodation was brand new so really nice and fancy!

As a city goes, it is relatively quiet, which is good, although there is traffic, it is never horrendous which is a plus. The nights out are fantastic with a wide range of clubs and everything is relatively cheap priced which is always a bonus for students such as myself.

Decent nightlife, everything is cheap. The campus and locals are all friendly and very helpful. Can't recommend it enough to be perfectly honest.

Underrated, Hull is seen as boring and dull, however a decent nightout and nice clean city centre. Good university campus aswell with easy mobility. Newland Avenue great for students aswell

Brilliant city! It was city of Culture in 2017, so there is so much to do! Cheap place to live. You can go out and have a good night without breaking the bank, whether you're going out for a meal, to the cinema, going to clubs or simply going to the pub. Great city to be a student in!

There’s loads of bars and restaurants on Newland Avenue. The buses into the city centre are cheap and easy to use. There are 3 cinemas which are really cheap. The 2 shopping centres offer a variety of chain shops as well as independent stores. Hull is a very cheap place to live and good value for money with lots to do.

An amazing city, so much to do and explore, with so many shopping centres and places to go out on a night, even if you aren’t one for clubbing and always on a students budget too!
