The city is quite beautiful however even though food and clothes overall you can find at a reasonable price the rent for a decent room is very expensive. Around 500? 440 at the best. Even the places you go out such as movies or nights out or even public transport is not that cheap.

Cambridge is a gorgeous city with plenty to see and do. Wonderful shopping areas with all the latest trends, food places are plentiful with top UK restaurants and chains. Sites are lovely such as the old cathedral. Plenty to do such a wall climbing, Christmas markets and exploring.

Cambridge provides a broad vatiety of available places to shop, eat and get entairtained; Big shopping centres along with local shops, cuisine originated from worldwide and theatre, cinemas and, of course, the Junction. Everything is also set in a beautiful and clean city with magnificent buildings and nature reminding of a fairytale. Combining the busy way of a city and the quite and calming walks at the parks, Cambridge is a beautiful place to live and study.

Cambridge is a very beautiful city very culture diverse I honestly love it. There's plenty of multicultural resturant's which are great for meeting up with friends and hanging out there's plenty of nightclubs around which always have great events on m. Transportation in Cambridge is amazing there always a bus every 10 mins or so. The only down side to this beautiful city I would say is how expensive it is to live in Cambridge price of housing is absolutely astonishing it's so expensive it unreal apart from that I love this city

There's always food shopping and things to do. If you're stuck for money then you can go and sit at a park with lovely views. Food in most restaurants is delicious and the atmosphere is enjoyable. I love coming to Cambridge for day trips and everybody is very helpful with directions if I'm ever lost. The markets in Cambridge are always busy with lots of nice things to buy. A perfect place to go to if you need your Christmas shopping done or if you're celebrating a birthday. Also, the university of Cambridge is a popular place to visit and consider going to. I love the cultural diversity here too.

Like with any city there are dozens of shops, restaurants and cosy little cafes in Cambridge for you to spend your time in. I haven't come across one yet that's bad either! You have both the Grand Arcade and the Grafton Centre for all of your shopping needs and they both have a great selection of shops and entertainment venues (the Grafton has both Vue Cinema and free table tennis areas)

There are a range of shops around which is good but not many places for young people. The shopping centres are at a reasonable price but there are some shops which are a bit too much.

Cambridge is small but has just about everything you could need - great selection of shops and less than an hour by train to London. The buildings (particularly old colleges) are absolutely beautiful and there are so many societies to get involved with through the university. Can get just about everywhere on foot or by bike, but there are good public transport options as well - a very pedestrianised city with lots of bike racks! Only downsides are the absolute excess of tourists and lack of supermarkets compared to my hometown, also little to do outside of the university.

A night out is great with multiple clubs to choose from and student prices on selected drinks There are many shops to choose from in city centre and fratton centre Cambridge is all about walking through parks and enjoying fresh air, loads of sweet coffee shops With student nights at shopping centers and student discounts mostly everywhere you go, you can really have a good time on a budget

Cambridge is a really nice city overall. There are loads of shops nearby, with 3 main shopping centres, so you'll definitely find all that you need. There is a wide selection for food, ranging from fine-dining to the well-known cafes. Transport wise, Cambridge is very bike friendly, though city centre has fewer cycle lanes. Drivers do normally watch out for cyclists though.

If you are looking for a place with night life then Cambridge isn't the place to be , to only good thing about it , is that it's good for studying cause it's quiet and everywhere is close to each other , but transport and accommodation is expensive , also finding halal places is hard

Cambridge is a wonderful city and perfect for anyone looking for both a scenic uni location as well as things to do - these including shopping and punting in Cambridge!! Nightlife leaves much to be desired so is the reason I gave 4 stars :)

Cambridge is a beautiful city with lots of free things to do for students, like the Botanical Gardens or the Fitzwilliam Museum. It is also filled with great shops and two huge shopping centres, as well as lots of restaurants, pubs, bars and clubs. With everything in walking distance, it's super easy to enjoy it all!

Cambridge is a great city full of shops and restaurants. It's full of little cafes serving amazing brunches - the best is Fitzbillies. All the old colleges in the centre of town are also worth visiting.

Cambridge has a poor night life however often people are too busy to every enjoy it. This is because of the difficult work load. However, after exams have finished it is absolutely mental.

Cambridge is an incredibly beautiful city with lots of great places to go for walks/sit by the river/have a drink, and the picturesqueness of the city is never quite lost on you. While it is //a bit// lacking in terms of nightlife, there are plenty of cocktail bars/places to go, at least, and London is not far away by train. There are lots of independent cafes/restaurants/cheap places for lunch/coffee.

Great shopping, some decent clubs, wonderful variety of restaurants offering range of cuisines and prices and deals for students and welcoming to all, create community feel and easy to get around especially via bike.

Cambridge is a small city, it has lots of history and pretty architecture but that’s where the good stuff stops. It’s an extremely expensive city, everything from food, drinks, club entry, transport to accommodation prices. It is simply not worth the money. As expensive as london but no extra student finance. Probably about 4 clubs in total, only 2 of which are actually bareable, but expect to pay in the region of £7.50 for a double vodka and mixer. Very little to do in Cambridge unless you have lots of money, even then its limited to restaurants and pubs which get old quickly. Average student accommodation price is around £600 a month. Go somewhere else!

Cambridge is a really pretty and cute little city, but not the most exciting of cities for students after a term of living there; There is not a lot to do, not many shops or restaurants or activities. However, there is punting, kayaking, canoeing, cinema, quirky shops and local pubs, museums, botanical gardens and plenty of university-run societies to keep students entertained. There are a lot of tourists on a daily basis which can be fustrating.

While incredibly expensive, Cambridge truly is a fantastic place to live and study, be that at ARU or one of the world-renowned colleges of Cambridge University itself. Cambridge may not have the greatest nightlife or shopping experience of any student town (although it not bad by any measure), but it is a beautiful place and has a lovely atmosphere with tonnes of great pubs, bars and restaurants. Cambridge is very cosmopolitan and you get to meet some amazing people from all over the world. The city has loads of wonderful little quirks and there truly is nowhere quite like it!

Night life is fun Various restaurant Not enough shops - very limited Prices in Cambridge is very high-similar to London. Rent is roughly 1500£ per month, so from there you can see that everything else would be expensive. A shot of vodka in hull is £1 whereas in Cambridge is £4! You get the idea

Some fantastic places to shop, an ambient and lovely market square complete with an ever-changing daily market, friendly and kindly locals too. Very picturesque and beautiful to walk around. Some delightful places to eat, including food stands and vans-a particular favourite is the crepe van!-and a range of restaurants to choose from, chains and individual!
