University of the West of England is a very good representation of Bristol’s free spirit, with a lot of interest towards art and sustainable entrepreneurship. In contrast with University of Bristol, UWE displays a wider cultural range, with emphasis on interpersonal relationships and self growth.

The disability services at UWE are fantastic, as well as the lgbtq+ society. I really enjoy my time there, and how there is a mutual respect between students and lectures

Our uni has three campuses and every of them is so unique and beautiful in their own ways. I’m a interior architecture student , we have an architecture block which equipped with all the facilities every architecture student needs- laser cutting, 3d modeling, technical workshops for metal, timber and concrete. Most importantly, lecturers are very helpful and passionate. Student union is very active by organizing various events to enhance students experience. Career service is good as well, they always answered my questions very quickly when I was away from Bristol doing my placement.

I'm a first year degree international student studying Biomedical Science at UWE Frenchay campus. I did my foundation year here and so far, almost everything here is great. I especially love the student support here, particularly in the careers service. They genuinely help you with any career plans or problems you have, like industrial placements and internships. In fact, they encourage their students to do them. Other than that, I love the facilities here. And they constantly upgrades them over the summer which is great. The gym here is fantastic as well, they have all the things you need. Compared to other gyms in Bristol, the membership is cheap. The only problem here though, is the expensive food and other products at the cafeteria and student union shops.

The facilities in this University are very good. The library is huge with 4 floors and loads of seating! However there are other PC rooms you could go to in other blocks at the campus which is a plus for students! Gym is well maintained and very good! Career services in this University is very helpful and very keen to help you with your CVs and other stuff regarding your career in the future.

Main campus is near the countryside which is not busy and noisy like other campus that is in the city! 10 minutes walk to nearest supermarket such as Asda, Sainsbury, etc. Buses are regular and always on time! A lot of support given to the students by the University! Such as housing, money problems, changing courses and your wellbeing. Lectures are very good and helpful! This is my final year as a Psychology undergraduate at UWE and I recommend students to go here 100% you will not regret!

I am on the hartpury campus for this university. Everything I have experienced: from teaching staff to on-site social spots to the accommodation - every aspect has been exactly what I needed. The staff are supportive and friendly, the students union are wacky, the campus itself is beautiful.

My graphic design course has really taught me a lot and made me grow as a person. The facilities are also very well equipt at Bower Ashton. My course is based in the centre of Bristol at the Arnolfini, that's also pretty good.

Really good lecturers. Really good nightlife and community. The new business and law building is really modern

My course is adult nursing and glenside campus is completely medical based so it’s nice to be around people that are doing a similar course to me. The student union is probably the worst but because it’s so small no one really wants to go there. The accommodation is also on site so it is really easy to get to lectures

Campus is great and convenient with shops, cash points and support. Lecturers are professional and very helpful with one on one if needed. Lecturers upload help onto blackboard also.

The campus is amazing for my nursing course as it is health care only students this provides a wonderful learning environment and excellent library facilities. Our own tiny SU with other restaurants and spaces to relax. Sometimes communication isn’t the greatest but it hasn’t let my experience down. The uni have been very supportive of any issues that have arisen and I would recommend UWE to any student looking to do a nursing degree!

The University of the West of England offers state-of-the-art facilities. The lecturers are dedicated and provide excellent teaching materials. There is adequate feedback for assignments and assessments. The student union's bar is really a happening place with good food and entertainment. The student union itself is also hardworking in ensuring the students are happy and satisfies.

I am a third year student studying environmental science, and I’m having the nest time. The lectures are great; they really know their stuff and are very engaging.
