The teaching staff are great when they teach their modules but when they cover for each other there's some real random tasks with no real relevance, SU is responsive and clean, little price.

The university i attend i enjoy that fact that it is campus based. not only the campus but how easy it is to navigate the city as well as how student friendly the city is. I study Law so enjoy being able to get out and about when i'm not studying.

All the facilities are quite nice, the course has a clear structure and it is easy to follow. I am an international student and I have been given help when i needed it. One of the issues I find is the bus service, sometimes a bus schedules for a certain hour doesn’t appear or comes late causing my inpunctuality.

The Campus is top Quality, all buildings have a modern interior and new buildings continuously are being added, in my 4 years at UWE i have witnessed the Students Union building be built, the Business and Law building be built and the plans be accepted for an engineering building to be constructed swell as walls court student accommodation be made. the nightlife alongside the university is amazing with many great clubs such as motion, lakota and blue mountain.

Decent campus and facilities, glenside campus could be made more modern, but is clean. Lots of contact hours on physio course which is good. Free printing at the library is helpful

Quality university with good facilities and with a good learning environment. Lots of renovation is being done which is bringing the uni facilities more into the modern day. Good content provided during the course which is interesting and enjoyable. A lot less contact time in year 2 than year 1 which came as a surprise.

The Bower Ashton campus is a good campus and the facilities are very good. The staff are friendly and qualified and make learning fun and interactive.

The main campus (Frenchay) has a very modern new business block, with high quality facilities for your academic learning.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time studying at UWE. I am in my third year of study on a psychology course. All the content is current and interesting with lecturers and tutors on hand to always help you and engage you in great discussions. There is a real push to do a placement on this course which is also really beneficial for the CV. The campus is always being updated and is has a great feel. There is a real push for sustainability which is advertised everywhere. I have regular contact with the students union but I am also aware there are struggles and arguments between the presidents which can sometimes create a difficult political atmosphere. However, I do not feel this has negatively impacted my experience overall.

Loads of help available as well as the library is super useful for studies. Heart team and the lecturers spend a lot of time helping students out in every need of theirs. People feel safe and valued. Library support is amazing as well as their careers opportunities.

Brilliant friendly helpful staff, plenty of options for food ranging from buffet to sit down meal. Student union well trained staff and well priced food and drinks with a few opportunities to have a club night in the student union. Great services to help out if there is any troubles that you are facing with mental health, money anything you can think of there's someone there to help you out

The campus has been recently refurbished in some areas which has really improved certain classrooms. The interactive facilities for health care students are excellent. The library and the staff are fantastic

UWE frenchay campus has a brilliant library, with different levels depending on what you are there for. The group study level is brilliant, it has secluded class rooms to work on group projects as well as plenty of computers. There is a section of the library where the computers have to be booked to be used. This is obviously good as you can reserve a place so you have a gauranteed study spot. However, the hire time is only 90 minutes, which in reality is not much time when you're completing an assignment. My course, English language and linguistics, has so far been generally enjoyable. A couple of the first year modules were quite dry and boring, with little interesting content. However, the second year content is much more interesting but of course much harder! Some of the lecturers do not put the lecture slides onto blackboard, meaning unless you attend you miss out on content. This is a real nuisance, as it means there is nothing to go back to for revision purposes during exam season. They also go through the slides too fast, inevitably resulting in people missing out content from the slides. Therefore, even people attending the lectures still miss out on valuable information. In first year, there was little advice or coaching on how to reference and how to write different types of essays. This was difficult as prior to uni, I had never needed to reference before or never wrote a literature review. The support of our assigned tutors can be useful to visit if you have any questions. They support you both academically or generally if you have any worries or queries about uni life. As the course is such a small department, it is much easier to request 1 to 1 time than some of the other larger courses with more students. In the first year I found the SU to be an enjoyable place to hang out with friends, with some of their freshers week events being really fun and entertaining. However, the few times I have been this year it has not been as 'lively' and seems to have lost its atmosphere. Overall, I would recommend UWE to potential students. As it is a campus uni, the furthest first years will have to travel to a lecture is less than a 5 minute walk. There is lots of student properties in the surrounding housing estates too which means throughout your uni experience you can be a matter of minutes away from your lecture halls. Most people I talk to at the university have generally positive comments and experiences and I know that this is certainly not the case with all universities. Although it is not as easy to access the nightlife as it's not located in the city centre, the university itself provides a great service.

I go to Hartpury university, part of uwe. The campus is beautifully put together with lots of clubs to attend. I have enjoyed my time here and the lecturers really do care.

Small campus in Gloucester, but comfortable for us! Free tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided. Lecture rooms are nice and small but not too small for our cohort.

Courses are very well organised and structured. Very helpful lecturers always ready to give extra time to assist students. Very strong extra curricular activities to help cultivate a good CV through your time at university

The campus is welcoming. With Modern buildings and good bus links Facilities include a gym and a few shops. The shops are a bit pricey but handy as they're just round the corner. My course is psychology and it's really interesting. The lecturers are really good and always helpful. On a whole the uni has a lot of support services for things such as careers, where you can book meetings and a 'uwe well-being service' where you can go for sessions to help with things such as anxiety.

Campus is absolutely fab, the halls are fun even if a little pricey (but it is bristol)...aerospace engineering course is very interesting with so many opportunities...there is a flight simulator and wind tunnel available for use etc. Some of the modules could do with more structure, but overall very good course but hard! The SU used to have amazing student nights every Thursday called lock in...then they got rid of them because the public who live in houses right next to the university(their choice in my opinion) got angry that they lived next to the university. Would be nice to see that back. UWE is known for its high post-grad employability rate, and I don't know a single graduate (most do my course) that is unemployed up to a year after their graduation.

Study Ba hons of accounting and finance in Uwe Bristol , I'm an international student coming from Dubai so haven't really got involved in much sport for now atleast as I'm still finding my way around as it's my 1st month in Bristol

Great facilities and enthusiastic staff ready to help all the time. Also the cross course inductions are a great incentive to keep people interested in uni life

My course has been good so far, passionate teachers and a lovely campus! Only improvements would be to have more modern teaching classrooms and more food place to eat, for example more restaurant/ take away food places on campus for students in evenings.

The facilities in which I am based is at a high standard filled with good equipment for me to learn with. Some of the lessons are a bit unorganised and we have recently lost a couple of lecturers which is not ideal

The campus it's self is a little run down in places and parking is difficult to find unless you get there early. The lecturers are helpful and knowledgeable.
