Glenside campus does not have many social activities or host anything to enhance the nightlife on campus. Needs more facilities and newer accommodation.

The campus is big and it’s easy to get lost, but you can find there everything you need - from medical centre to a bank. OneZone is a great place to hang out during breaks between lectures, good quality food in a reasonable price with nice music accompanying. The courses are generally interesting and creative, however that depends mostly on the lecturer. UWE stopped in the 20th Century when it comes to technological advance - computers are old, it is not easy to print something (not many printers and complicated software), fire alarm is going on quite often but everyone is used to that and no one really reacts. I haven’t used the career service but I know from my friend that it is very helpful, staff is happy to help with career advising, CV’s, motivation letters etc. The student union has a modern building, there is an always occupied ping-pong table which is a great idea. It’s a great place to hang out and meet interesting people. My overall experience is good but I perceive a lack of organization of the university. It his hard to get, for instance, a document needed to open a bank account as no one from staff knows what to do diverting students to other offices.

University is okay, but there is a lot to improve like student facilities and the uni should test all the lecturers properly before recruiting because most of them are crap ! Can’t understand

Lots of activities including a cheap student bar on campus, lock in is a definite no as you’ll be the only person there however £1.50 pints don’t even make up for that
