Move in was really easy with a lot of people around to help, my first day at uni was also easier than what I thought with people to help you around the university. there could have been more information on what buses to get and how to use the laundry room! Events were really good met loads of people at my halls In the city centre, the whole process was a lot easier than what I thought!

All the staff and students were really helpful during my move into halls! The freshers events were creative and well organised- the drinks at the SU are all decently priced so you can have the best time. In town the events are a bit more expensive but still a great laugh

As a foreign student from Malaysia, moving in was quite the hassle as I had tons of luggage to carry around. The first week was scary as I was in a foreign land with no friends and was not mentally prepared foe winter... AT ALL. The events done by UWE was fantastic, helped me to find a community at Bristol and my new friends who made my only year in Bristol a colourful and eventful one.

There were lots of events at the SU, which were all very busy and fun. The only issue was queuing sometimes you would have to wait for hours outside the SU. When moving in I did not receive a moving in box which I later found out my flat mates did.

Everyone is so friendly! UWE create so many varietied events for people to meet new friends. I got the platinum band to get me to these events for free/guarantee me a space, this also got me into the SU for free throughout the year which saved me money in the long run.
