There are loads of events on during freshers, all different types so I felt like there was something for everyone. Even if people don’t drink alcohol there were food ones like ‘bring your own bowl’. They also gave lots of good info on how to meet people in halls, as it is really scary and I know I was very nervous about moving in, so the staff tried to make it as easy as possible for you! Which was really helpful. I would definitely suggest people moving into halls to knock on their neighbours doors and also the flats below and above them as it’s so worth meeting as many people as possible so you can find your ‘type’ of people, which can be hard and a bit overwhelming considering there is hundreds of people moving in at the same time as you.

Overly a pretty good experience, enjoyed most of the events. Moving in is the easiest process of university, it's not hard but can get lonely later on. Going to freshers events is a good way to meet people but personally, I think that in the first week you need to put yourself out there and be very out going and speak to everyone you see walking around your accommodation because that's how you'll make good friends.

Freshers week is a great way to meet new people for different parts of the world. The events held by the uni were good as well.

Moving in went well and wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Freshers fair was a lot of fun and all the stalls were friendly and easy to sign up to

I found my uni to be very welcoming. The university accomdation was perfect for new comers as it really integrated all freshers and left no choice but to socialise with those around you. I have found that for me and many people I know, Freshers week resulted in meeting friends for life. I really enjoyed it.

We had helpful people from the student committee who helped us to find our halls and various places around the university. We had some vouchers and goody bags also which was a nice touch. The nights out were well organised and a lot of fun.

Was an easy move in due to help offered. The freshers week information led to a variety of events both during the day and at night.

The seniors never showed me the pool on the roof and I am disappointed in them. Bshsjdjdhdjdjejejejeje
