The society has been well-run this year. There’s been a wide variety of professional and social events. Society-run clubnights have been great and the society has maintained a good alumni network and mentoring scheme to support students in their academic, professional and social capacities. The President and the Committee have been really dedicated this year and have always been available and accessible. Membership is effectively free and subsidised by the university. The society is well-resourced thanks to a good amount of sponsorship from some major law firms.

Warwick Law Society offers a comprehensive range of activities lined up for its members from sports (bubble football) to academics (revision workshops conducted by senior students) to career events (law firm open days). Almost every law student is part of Law Society, and there are also many students from other disciplines who actively participate in Law Soc's events too. I benefitted a lot as a member of Law Soc in my 3 years here and I highly recommend anyone interested in law to join this society. Amazing exec, amazing members and amazing experiences!

The society always has a range of events and opportunities for students. They have a number of careers events with leading law firms - a way for students to learn more about the firms and interact with representatives on a formal and informal basis. Through the support of this society I was able to secure a vacation scheme at a top law firm. Besides career opportunities, they hold a number of social events and competition which enhances student engagement with the society. I have attended bar crawls, balls and international tours where I’ve had lots of fun and made friends. I have also entered into mooting and negotiation competitions where I have developed multiple skills which has helped me as I prepare to enter into a commercial career.
