The University of Warwick

The campus is compact but very useful. There's lots to do with the student union and the societies are great and varied. Careers services are very good for coporate careers, not so much creative careers but they are making progress.

Warwick is everything I ever dreamed of and more. The campus is becoming a beautiful space full of modern buildings and well-run bars and pubs, and Leamington is a very pretty town too if you're living off-campus. I very highly recommend it as a uni primarily on the basis of its forward thinking flexible courses, completely customisable to what you want to specialise in, and the tutors who really go out of their way to teach you what they love.

Great history department and overall humanities department. Enjoyable and thorough content - a good range of lecturers

The university in itself is very large so when you're new to the scene it can be a bit confusing and easy to get lost! But over time you get used to the routes. I really enjoy my course that I'm on which is a person centred - psychotherapy course. My tutors are amazing with giving us extra support if needed and just support in general. I'm very happy and grateful to be enrolled in this course. Moving onto my second year here at Warwick now.

the university is sat on such a beautiful green campus and i love the tranquility of it. It may be a bit isolated from city life but it is easily connected to coventry with a bus ride every 15-30mins and its only one hour from london by train!

The campus has great facilities and is constantly expanding. Currently includes an amazing climbing center inside the sports center. Sadly the plans for the next sports center seem to be designed with aesthetics in mind instead of practicality and what climbers actually want.

Warwick University has a great sports center with an amazing climbing wall and bouldering room. There are plans for a new sports center with new climbing facilities which sadly seem to be focused more on aesthetics than practicality and what climbers want. The downside to the amazing campus is the lack of nightlife, requiring you to travel to leamington Spa by bus to go to OK bars and clubs.

Good uni in the rankings and nice campus etc but communication between the university and students is poor and makes the entire process very stressful.

When you take all the individual elements of Warwick that you can review in this survey you find yourself giving it 3/4 stars in most. The campus is functional and easy to get around but it’s not amazing. The le tire theatres are a real mixed bag, some are great some are a little dated. The SU puts on a good sports night every week but there’s little variety. The sports facilities could be amazing there are lots of pitches and a new 4G however the staff seem a bit obstructive about letting us use them and the gym weights area is sub-par. What’s interesting though is I’d still give the university 5 stars overall because I’ve only been here two terms but I’ve had the most amazing time, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Very good campus experience. A very diverse environment. Lecturers and staffs are very helpful. Societies and sport clubs are very active,

The course and campus are fantastic. There's everything you need within walking distance. The night life can be pretty dead though and getting to both Coventry and Leamington spa (the nearest towns) require a bus journey, which costs an arm and a leg.

The University of Warwick is bang right in the middle of nowhere! From day 1 you think you feel lost and with nowhere to go... give it a few days. After those few days you’ll make friends with some of the best people, you’ll join the best team, and you’ll have the best nights out. By your third year you start feeling like the King (or Queen) of the campus, friends with everyone and always caught up in convo on the bus to and from Leamington. An overall amazing experience and I wouldn’t change it for anything.

The campus is reallyamazing. The facilities are really good (all that you are alever going to need), I may not be able to appropriately comment on the courses as I do not have any other sources to compare it with but I must say that there are a lot of courses to pick from, the SU is decent and the careers service are really helpful.

Warwick is a campus university, which to some is the transition they need from leaving home. However I found that after being independent in my home town, I soon had my independence removed after being on campus. The campus is situated between Coventry and leamington, therefore it’s not just a walk into town-often a bus ride to ‘escape’ the student life. Campus to me felt like living at school, it was quite strange. However the teaching and academic side is excellent, and everyone strives to help you get a high mark. The range of clubs and sports is excellent; and the SU is run well with fun event nights. Accommodation ranges is also good, but you aren’t guaranteed your first.

The campus is really big and always improving. The facilities for my course (English) are okay, though the secondary texts for essays can be very old sometimes. The careers servics advertise a lot of finance/law opportunities but try a little bit to get more relevant opportunities at the department fairs. My department as a whole is very organised and I've never had any complaints.

Really nice campus, with generally good facilities, could do with more study space. Careers services are good and there are a lot of opportunities that are presented to students.

The campus is very nice and it's a large university so exploring it was fun. The university has great facilities with a library that has all the books I need most of the time. The SU do try to put on events. My negative on the university is that many buldings do need some refurbishing, except for maths of course. Also the gym is tiny.

Warwick has very high teaching and good facilities. I enjoy every aspect of it and would definitely decide to chose to come here again. There are plenty of opportunities for everyone.

I study English literature. I thoroughly enjoy the course and the amount of choice that I am given regarding my modules. However the organisation within the department is poor and grades are often not returned on time. Campus is beautiful at all times of year and halls were good quality. I particularly enjoyed my time in Heronbank. The humanities building needs updating

The campus is nice because everything is very close together! My course is very hard work. Nightlife is quite average. Uni life isn’t as fun as expected but is getting better.

My French and history degree is engaging, with plenty of opportunity to develop my interests in a wide range of subjects. The tutors and committed and passionate about their subjects, while there is also a strong emphasis on ensuring that students are ready for the world of work.

Very conducive for studying! Has basic necessity but can be boring at some time. Probably need more restaurants and less pricey option for good food on campus. Upgrade some old buildings to match their new buildings.

The campus is a great place to study, with lots of spaces available to work in any scenario. The Economics course is good, teaching and lecture material included.

The campus is fairly compact though has a lot of unattractive post-modernist buildings. Regardless, new modern buildings are being built constantly. The lecturers are, in general, good and the same can be said for seminar tutors. The university is generally rather helpful, for example, was able to get my laptop fixed for free and get an emergency loan for costs of living.
