Light Opera Society

LOpSoc seems intimidating at first, putting it’s Performing Arts focus on Gilbert and Sullivan Light Operas. Though admittedly, this form takes some getting used to, the society will get used to you immediately. Anyone can be at home in LOpSoc (literally, our Chorus is unauditioned - anyone can be in a show, regardless of ability or confidence!) We pride ourselves on the eclectic nature of our society. We’re weird, but friendly, and nobody should let the fact we good-naturedly joke about being a cult put you off. I’ve made the majority of my friends at uni in LOpSoc, and I couldn’t ask for a better bunch to spent weekly Tuesday evening rehearsals with.
