At the Vet School, so not on the main campus much, but love the uni. The vet school can at times be disorganized but very well run.

The campus is really big and clean with an organised structure. There are a range of facilities, good cafes for refreshments. A wide ride of learning equipment and a large library. The staff are really friendly and helpful also. The only downfall would be the car parks, there are not enough spaces.

Very spacious and quiet, doesn’t feel too crowded and is nice for those who enjoy quieter lifestyle than a city campus. All of the staff are very friendly and always willing help Very good support system and mental health support too

I studied on terrorist campus. Lovely that is fairly small and there is a real community feeling. Made friends for life in halls. Would recommend Glamorgan court over the more expensive blocks because it's more communial. All lecturers on the courses are actually so helpful

Good facilities nice environment . Very supportive course that is inclusive and even though it has its own community there is the option to be a part of the whole wider community of the university itself

my honest opinion of the university as a whole is that it really is such a good place to learn and develop! The courses, the lecturers and people who support you within the university are always an email away, and are always so eager to help. My course is amazing, and really teaches you exactly what you want to learn. I really couldn't or wouldn't wish for a better bunch of people to complete my studies with! The facilities are good, with a 24 hour library (for those last minute all nighter assignments) which is a massive bonus!

The Treforest campus has good facilities for students, stilts has fair prices of food and drinks as well as plenty of seating, thy have good and well qualified lecturers and the lectures and tutorials are interesting.

It is a very inspiring and creative place, where I feel relaxed and free. Being around so many creative and enthusiastic students is so amazing and there is no where else I would rather be.

Most staff are friendly but some can be frustrating and unnecessary. The campuses are fairly standard but a little boring and there's not too much to do. I feel that the Cardiff campus of USW is a lot better funded and nicer than the pontypridd campus and I don't think this is fair.

Everything is just over all amazing! Well worth the experience. Top notch. Great place to go if you can’t decide on what to do/go

The Cardiff campus is split into 4 sections so you don’t really get to meet other courses, the support from lecturers is incredible and would 100% recommend going here if you want real world experience for modules

Lovely building in Cardiff, really central to everything. Canteen is good with cheap meals and massive portions. Classrooms are very spacious and interesting reading materials in the library.

The university of Glamorgan (Now known as USW) is situated in a very scenic Welsh valley. The university is split into campuses (Now 4 as USW), the Trefforest campus and the Glyntaff campus. I studied at the Glyntaff campus, which is directly across the valley from the Trefforest campus. The facilities offered were good, we had access to a 24 hour library and computer rooms with all the relevant software needed for courses. The student life is good, only a short distance away from Cardiff, offerinf some of the best nightlife a uni student could wish for.

Campus itself is okay, canteen could use some improvement as it is too small to fit all students most days. Especially earlier on in the year. The food is also overpriced. In regards to the course (Bcs hons Nursing), the tutors are very helpful and supportive of your learning. Placements are an issue for most every year. Many students don’t have placements until a week before they are due to start. There simply aren’t enough placements for the number of students in each cohort. Overall, Glamorgan is a good university but could benefit from better organisational skills in regards to timetables and placements.

The University of Glamorgan (Since 2013: University of South Wales) has some very helpful staff and dedicated employess who care about the students. The location in Pontypridd, about 25 min away from Cardiff City Centre, is good for both people from commuting from Cardiff and other Valleys towns, but there are also a lot of student-focussed businesses, takeaways and shops there. I personally decided to live in Cardiff since I prefered living in a bigger city, but life in Pontypridd was definitely very affordable, as far as I heard from other students.

Been at the university of South Wales for 2 years now and I have 3 years left but the university is awesome and the teaching staff are really good. Only thing that brings down the rating is the lack of jobs in the area and the help provided to get jobs.

Lovely campus, really big with great facilities. The chiropractic course is structured really well with great lecturers and facilities for the course located just of campus- a 5 minutes walk from the side gate on campus.

A very homely atmosphere in general but not too far from Cardiff at all so if it's a big nightlife that you want you can get that too quite easily.

The university itself is amazing. Each department has their own facilities meaning that you'll never go to use a room and not be able to. The library and union is great and the amount of technology available to use is amazing. However the café and vending machine prices are extortionate! Most avoid it to go to Tesco (5 mins away). As a café for students, you would think that the prices would be reasonable but they're really not, the café is a waste of money. You pay a lot for a coffee that tastes disgusting so most just go elsewhere and the vending machines are so over priced and faulty that only those who can't make it to a shop use them. I think this should be improved for students as charging so much is unfair and we should be given affordable eating and drinking options especially since for most, buying stuff there is the last resort

The staff are friendly however to my course specifically there is a lack of organisation and planning within members of staff. The Building itself is beautiful and it is easy to find room locations.
