Moving into my accommodation was very easy and helpful. I have meet lots of new friends that are fabulous some are doing the same course as me. Freshers week in Manchester was really fun with lots of different events happening in the city centre. Some tips for new students would be make sure you have all your friends with you on freshers and have s meeting place if you all get lost. Pack extra money for taxis or get the Uber app to get you home also eat before you go out so you don't get drunk straight away.

Gave out a lot of free stuff such as iced coffes. The event was a bit small as there was not many booths - especially when compared to Manchester Met.

My only problem with freshers week was the price of the events which were on over the city, most events were over £10 to get in and then drinks. Move it experience was simple and easy, and we got information about our surrounding areas. I met people through being in Facebook groups for the university I was going to and the halls. This would be my biggest tip to get in these as this is how you meet people prior to starting. Another way to meet new people is to get involved in everything that is going on both at your university and all over the city.
