Fresher’s week was one of the best experiences. I made so many new friends, experienced events that were out of my comfort zone (which I surprisingly enjoyed) and found a new love for socialising.

Club events were really good. So many great artists came down. Variety of music in clubs. Cheap drinks so overall freshers was real good

Freshers week was the most amazing week ever. Everyone was going out which allowed me to meet new people and also freshers fayre was amazing, I wasn't even aware how many societies and the clubs university of Portsmouth had to offer.meeting new people was not so hard as everyone was new as well and therefore was ready to talk to you and also everyone was super friendly. I think even f you're not that much into going out and clubbing this is something that you shouldn't miss as this will really allow you to meet people and have lots of fun and my advice for new students is to join some societies or clubs because its a lot of fun and just trying something new is always a good idea.

Portsmouth could not have provided me with a better experience of university life. The staff and students are all friendly, the course is brilliant, the social life is great and the campus provides a safe and friendly environment to live in!

Banging freshers week, always something to do, easy to meet new people, well priced drinks, enjoyed myself very much.

The university is amazing, most of the lecturers are really helpful, so for any new students who are coming to the university of Portsmouth my advice would be. Don’t be afraid to put your hand up and ask if you don’t understand something in lecture as most likely other people don’t understand like you. So you will all benefit

Was easy to move in, didn't get halls so ended up straight in a house, the uni helped us find others and a house. Freshers was good, lots of good events and reasonably priced

Lots to do, but always could be more free stuff- I'm not one to complain about that. Friendly atmosphere and made a lot of new friends that I've stuck with ever since. I'd give it 10 Goldblums out of a possible 10 Goldblums.

A great week with loads of different club nights so we all could get to know one and another well ready for the years ahead of us
