Futsal

One of the best futsal set ups in the country. All teams receive coaching (most universities do not have coaches for the lower teams) and everyone has an equal opportunity to take part. A lot of sports teams seem political e.g. getting in can be more down to who you know rather than your skill level, however I feel that the futsal club does not have this at all. The head coach pushes for a 'one-club' ethos and this shows as everyone is very welcoming and gets along. Nottingham futsal club is also very successful, the first team competes in the BUCS premier, the highest level of university competition, and the university also has a team competing in the National Futsal League. The clubs success is highlighted by the fact that many of our players play at International level, representing England in numerous teams.
