The University of Nottingham

I've been a student here for around 3 years now and I love every aspect of this uni. From my first week, in my chosen halls (Raleigh Park) were excellent at getting us all involved in the menu freshers activities that were available and it was easy to get from there to the university and to the city centre if I desired. The uni it's self was quite difficult to navigate as it was such a big campus, but I soon got used to it. The medical school is very near by and and the campus it's self is very stunning. Be careful of the geese though! Overall ive loved studying at this uni and recommend it highly to anyone and everyone! Been very supportive of mental health issues I have had

To sum up Nottingham it is an all round amazing uni. The campus is great (with a shiny new sports centre), the social side is amazing and the buzz on campus is really enjoyable. The sports teams are all a really high standard, the nightlife to go with being in a sports team in notts is phenomenal and the city itself is pretty decent (even if the locals are a bit dodgy).

Great uni, lots of people. Generally good atmosphere. The gym is huge but also costs a fair amount. Careers wise Nottingham is pretty on it with a lot of help available to those who want it.

University of Nottingham is the most beautiful campus, and the facilities are good too! I love the 24 hours opening times of some libraries in the campus. Would recommend my juniors to choose this uni!

The campus is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need. It’s a great place to live, especially in first year when everything is so new. The facilities are amazing and there is great support if you need any help.

Not only does my university boast the greenest campus in the UK (gorgeous in the summer!) but it has a ton of societies on offer, meaning that there really is something for everyone. We also have a crazy range of degrees available, with different campuses purely for some different fields. The halls on uni park are also insane!! I had the best experience there, and you're looked after so well. The catered service at UoN is fab - you get over a fiver a day for lunch anywhere on campus, ontop of breakfast and dinner in halls. Our sports facilities are also top notch – I've never seen a sports centre and gym that's so up to date and that has absolutely EVERYTHING! My brother doesn't even live in Notts but he travels just to use our sports centre! Furthermore at UoN, if you ever find yourself going through a tough spot, the welfare team is incredible and does all that they can to help. There is honestly so much support here in Notts I can't stress how amazing it is to be at uni here. I don't know a single person who doesn't enjoy going to UoN. Nottingham city itself is also so beautiful. The city centre is lively and there's always something new to do, or some new nook/cranny to explore where a cute little cafe covered in fairy lights awaits. We also have Wollaton hall right next to campus, which is more commonly known as "batman's house" from the films. Ugh, I just love it! Uni here is amazing!!!! Not to sound too cliche, but it's made me who I am! It really does shape you and help you find your way. I would recommend our uni to anyone and everyone!!!!

The university is great in all aspects whether it's sport, societies or overall teaching. The number and quality of sports and societies means that there is something for anyone. And the lecturers are very good in class as well as being readily available to email for help with courseworks or teaching

Great facilities. Sports centre the best in UK. Very pretty campus with lots to explore and hidden gems. Frequent inter campus bus service is really useful and transport links available to anywhere in Nottingham via tram, bus, canal, by bike or on foot. Can't recommend it enough.

The campus is beautiful. The students union really makes you feel included and like you belong. The university has a gym on campus and you can use all of the facilities in one price. I frequently get emails about career help, advice and placement opportunities. Really outstanding university that shows they genuinely care about your future.

The campus is great, everything is close together and there's a good student community. I had a really good experience, I made loads of friends and really enjoyed my course - economics. The career services are great and helped me secure an internship.

An amazing university full of great facilities and departments. The mixture of green areas and pure lecture buildings make it the perfect uni for anyone. As it is a campus based uni it takes out the stress of the city with it being close by for easy access by public transport so there truly is no downsides to the uni.

Campus has great new facilities, especially the new Sports Centre that has recently been build. Transport links around the university sites are always on time and come regularly throughout the day.

I absolutely love my University as the campus is beautiful, homey, and my course has helped me a lot over the years. I study Hispanic Studies, which allowed me to go on a year abroad last year, and although I got into a complicated situation whilst I was away, the University was really supportive in getting me back on my feet.

The campus has lots of facilities. There are three libraries, and during study week and exam week, they are open for 24 hours. There’s also careers advisory service that is very helpful.

Beautiful buildings, everyone that works for the uni is always a pleasure to talk to. It accommodates those that prefer to be quiet and by themselves really well too. Best place to learn!

University of Nottingham was my second choice based on the course structure. I never gave a thought to the campus grounds arriving late on a rainy open day, but when I arrived back to start studying there University Park blew me it was so mind numbingly beautiful and large with many secret areas I still haven't found to this day. The facilities are first class and the services available to you also and with one of the biggest SUs it has something for everyone. I feel truly lucky not to have gotten my first choice as this has been the biggest highlight in my life.
