The University of Nottingham

The campus was gorgeous, with very open green areas. I found that many of the lecturers were not very helpful and that a lot of the time it was easier to solve problems myself than to expect help from them. The gym was very good, having been massively refurbished, with many facilities including a climbing wall.

Fantastic 4 years spent here. The course will push you to learn and be your best but I made great friends and had some incredible experiences!

Very attractive campuses that are always being improved. Good and cheap bus routes from student areas into uni. 24 access for students in many buildings but the library's are often rammed for exam periods. I personally have had very good lecturers for mathematics and there is a good online moodle service. Massive modern sports Village on campus.

Nottingham uni posses two beautiful state of the art campuses. Jubilee campus is a modern, environmentally friendly campus whereas University Park is more green and traditional. To move between campuses one can make use of the free hopper bus running every 15 minutes. However, this may sometimes be too late or too crowded. I study Politics at the University of Nottingham. My lecturers have been been helpful with suitable office hours, even extending them during exam periods. As a member of the student union I can confirm the sheer hard work and communication that goes on. Quite a lot of issues can be resolved using them Overall my student experience has been exceptional at this university.

The university of Nottingham campus is unlike any campus I’ve seen. You’d be fooled into thinking you’re in some nature reserve given the vast number of geese and the impressive rowing lake that surrounds the university park campus. The campus has everything that one could ever want, a state of the art sports centre, bustling students union building filled with coffee shops, print shops even a Caribbean and a Chinese restaurant! The campus is a mere 10 mins away from the bustling city centre where you’re sure to find something that will entertain you!

Campus is great, it’s like a park. Lots of greenery and trees and a lake. They are constantly improving the campus, a new sports facility was recently build and new buildings are going up all the time. The SU is a nice pub, but isnt too cheap and doesnt cater for those after a club type night.

University of Nottingham is one of the most beautiful universities I've been to. Due to doing nursing, I was based at the teaching hospital (QMC) which is a big hospital. I usually got lost trying to find certain places especially hospital wards. However, there were lovely people to help when ever I was lost.

Beautiful campus and amazing sports facilities. MSc course has been exactly what I wanted but at times felt there was an overlap between on modules on certain topic areas. The tennis club has played a large part in my university experience and provided an excellent place to develop my game, play competitive tennis in BUCS leagues, and meet a lot of like minded people. The majority of my friends come through the tennis club.

The university is a very inclusive facility, with a huge range of facilities and activities within it. The integration between students and halls of accommodation is good, and many events are organised in order to make the students mingle. My course in the Business school can be boring at times, but all the lectures are recorded which is handy.

The student services are a great source of help when it comes to A-Z of uni life. The campus is one of the most prettiest campuses in the UK, it helps people feel more at home and pushes them through the uni experience at ease.

10/10 facilities with regards to the Chemistry department (cannot comment on others). However, I've found them to be very sexist. Your mind may immediately go towards sexism against women, but no, I'm talking about sexism against men. Such as "Girls nights in" etc. why no boys nights? Are we already too privelleged? Disgusting.

Overall the university was good and had everything I needed for my degree. It lacked some of the tradition that other universities have which was a shame as I think it affects the character but it was a really homely place. The campus is very convenient and is a nice distance away from the town, making it a completely separate experience. My degree (Geography) was varied and interesting with the opportunity for field trips as well. The SU has improved recently and has become more engaging than it was when I first started, and there are events to suit everyone now.

Beautiful campus, still work being done to improve all the time. Great help from student services and staff

The buildings are honestly so lovely. Main campus buildings and environment is an older feel however the jubilee campus where I go to is a lot more modern. I love the degree I’m studying for and the library has great resources which has helped a lot. I’d stay it’s an organised uni and the student union is good.

Everything very good excellent. Scenic campus difficult to get around the main campus but still beautiful due to the natural surroundings

great university. I'm currently on the Sutton Bonington campus which could do with a slightly better facilities (particularly the gym equipment) but theres enough to make progress. Overall a great uni.

The environment is very helpful to study, the library, the facilities, and the teaching staff is really supportive. The student union is also doing a great job with different types of events during the whole year.

Facilities are great at the university, plenty of space and well kept. The courses are good although lecture delivery could be improved.

Loads of library choice for quiet study. Beautiful campus with nature and cycle paths. Staff helpful. Parking restrictions extremely annoying- a review needed.

Beautiful campus, very green, lots of space to walk around, boats on lake are fab, maintained really well Good facilities, although all libraries are stuffy and overcrowded, lots of study rooms around campus although these should be made more obvious, computers good, gym excellent but VERY expensive, hardly a way to encourage students to keep healthy Careers advice very accessible and friendly New centralised student services disorganised, unclear and not friendly, we used to have our own departmental admin office so it feels very different with the new system, less personal Good SU, good range of shops, but no where for evening socialising apart from small bar with no ambience

Campus is lovely, big and green. The university was good for my course, chemical engineering, with a good reputation for graduate employment. The facilities for both my department and sports are very good. Brilliant students union, great nights out, wide range of societies. Overall a great experience.

Campus is large so often is 10/15 minute walk to lectures. However it’s a very scenic campus to walk through so the walk tends to go quickly. Very easy to find your way around. Course is on the whole well structured with some areas being better than others.

Nice uni most lectures don’t care about students though and don’t reply to emails so needs improvement but the campus and city are nice and material is interesting

Great course and beautiful campus. The welfare services are amazing and the lecturers are really supportive. Lots of opportunities for trips away too!
