Stressful moving in but plenty of events on and welcome lectures to make the student experience better

The wristbands weren't good value for money as half of the events are repeated, so you'd be paying to go to the same event twice. It needs more events with different themes.

My moving experience was quite easy as I lived in the ground floor which meant that I didn't have to travel far to get to my room

Everyone I met was fun and friendly! I had fun at the club socials and at freshers fair I got a lot of goodie bags and signed up for a lot of societies.

I really enjoyed it I met new people I even met some people from my course. I learnt my way around the town, it's still a bit confusing because it's nothing like London but I'm understanding it more

Freshers fair week was lively with many events throughout the week during both the day and night time

Freshers week is lit, full of diversity.. and things to do for everyone, things to do in the morning, collecting freebies and have testers of food and games etc. Also, outdoor cinemas, bars and clubs at night.

Freshers events started with a bang, UV party, foam party, paint party etc. Towards the end they did get a bit lame, but you would expect 14 nights of events they’re gonna run out of ideas. Drinks are cheap, club is busy and you meet so many people!

My move in was super quick and easy, the first night was a great introduction to what the week had to offer. Meeting my flat mates was a little nervy but fun. I’d definitely recommend going to all the freshers week events, evening and day time as it’s a great chance to meet new people as well as your flat mates.
