Amazing campus with great facilities. The university has a lovely atmosphere. Although I don't actually enjoy my course all the other great aspects about university life has helped me persever with the course.

The campus is really well designed and has loads of resources. Our student union is one of the best in the country making our careers fairs, events and what food and drinks are available on campus fantastic.

Great campus in the heart of Newcastle, with friendly and helpful staff, that are easy to contact whenever needed. Plenty of societies and sports to get involved with, as well as a brand new sports centre to train in that’s accessible 7 days a week, all year round.

Newcastle offers a fantastic campus, located in the centre of city, only a stones throw away from town. Brilliant students union providing so many different opportunities and representing the university’s students in the national platform. Excellent brand new buildings, with state of the art teaching equipment and other amenities. Very good sports facilities, although the university gym could do with a slight update.

The campus is pretty with a good library and sports centre, the student union has a shop which is handy. I have not been to the careers service but I wonder if they should be more involved, I thoroughly enjoyed my course it works well with a range of compulsory history modules in the first year which gives you a way of getting an overview of a large period which then allows you to know how you want to narrow down your focus in second year where you get a choice of all 6 modules which again I think is really good because it give you a lot of choice.

Couldn’t have chosen a better uni; you can be anyone and fit in here, I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love it

Newcastle University is bloody wonderful. What a great campus!! I ordered pizza from the on-site Domino's regularly, and I have often bought tickets to the theatre (The Northern Stage) too

Newcastle University is an excellent place to study many subjects. I study Medicine and believe Newcastle to be one of the best universities for this in the country; graduates for second to Oxford recently in terms of post-graduate exams.

The campus is great and central. Great course by fantastic lecturers and the careers service are second to none! Only improvement could be making the SU drinks cheaper and bringing back Saturday club nights.

I love the city, but the course is far from perfect. It’s all marked terribly and the tutors are unhelpful and clearly don’t care about you or your work. Every student is just viewed as another student number, with a box to be ticked.

Overall very good. Spend little time on campus as I study in the new £58 million Urban Sciences Building. Facilities in the building are great, always plenty computers. 24 hour library is a plus too.

The campus is really nice always clean the older building are beautiful, my course is on the whole well taught with just a couple of modules over the 3 years that could’ve been communicated better, not really involved in the SU not my thing, careers service is helpful

I really appreciate how much university is doing for us-students. Student wellbeing, careers advice on campus and other services are runing so smoothly. I strongly believe that I'm getting the best out of my uni experience!

The first thing that strikes you about Newcastle University is the beautiful campus! Old red brick buildings covered in beautiful vines and surrounded by trees. The campus is large and spacious with lots of cafes, eateries and coffee shops. No matter where you are in campus you can find an area to sit, work, and eat. My favorite thing about the University is how active the Student Union is. There is always some activity or event happening and so many opportunities to win free prizes or take part in competitions. They are also very helpful in organizing volunteer and other free time activities.

The campus is easily accessible and beautiful, with good facilities and in a good location. There could be more career advice and support

The campus is right next to the town centre which is so useful and really makes you feel like part of the city. The buildings are all spread out so they aren’t on top of each other but they aren’t too far apart either. There are loads of great facilities including the amazing gym and all the labs in the medical building. The student union has a dominos and subway so it’s always busy, particularly on sunny days when people eat out on the grass in front of the union. They also have a bar in the union, it’s super cheap and a great place to meet with your friends. There are loads of career opportunities at Newcastle University, I’m often receiving emails with different volunteering roles and different places to apply for over summer.

Newcastle is an amazing university. The main campus has beautiful architecture and is really close to town centre. The SU has good food chains with loan friendly deals. Everyone is super friendly and it has the best nightlife.
