The city is amazing, the people, the things to do and the value for money can't slate it at all. The campus university is beautiful and everything is conveniently close so you can walk everywhere. I do chemical engineering and it's run by people who have forgotten what being a student is and we aren't considered in a lot of decisions, I feel like a walking pound sign sometimes. However, I've had the best 4 years of my life the bad parts of my course and outweighed by my university experience.

I love Newcastle university however they should be more socialising areas. I am studying architecture however my year group is not within the architecture building so when I have to get scan something or print something I have to change buildings.. There should be more shops with in the student union.

A huge campus filled with buildings that offer numerous services that can help you with anything whether if it's for your course, wellbeing, and jobs. The courses themselves are certainly high quality and the lectures and seminars are very well organised and useful.

Really good support system and tutors. Good Induction period. Lots of facilities, and a big campus.

The campus is right next door to the city centre which is amazing, with the campus itself being beautiful! All the staff are very welcoming, friendly and willing to help you with both academic and social needs. Would high recommend!

The campus is extremely pretty and very clean. There's always something going on, whether it's a stall or a food van. The facilities available for my course are great, the labs are fully equipped. I'm part of the biosoc and they really involve everyone and always organise events!

The canpus design is good where buildings are within the same area with walkable distance and is right next to town centre. The laboratories are well equipped and with new instruments which is really good for students. My course leaders are very active in making changes upon student's request. They value student's opinion and alter according to it. The career services is brilliant as well. They are really helpful in helping students to build their CVs and in job hunting. They also provide a lot of interview tips and practices for students to gain confidence.

Newcastle uni is a very welcoming and friendly university, I was so nervous going to uni for the first time but the help the uni has available really made it easy to fit into the uni lifestyle. Services include an excellent careers service, a wide range of societies to be part of and lots of welcome events were put on in freshers week to really help you settle in.

Newcastle University is a very good university, with high quality of teaching. The lecturers and teachers are always there to be supportive, no matter what the issue, and I have had invaluable advice from my personal tutor which has helped me greatly to know where to go from when I graduate. Definitely the right choice of uni for me!

Newcastle university couldn't be more welcoming if they tried. Everyone is so friendly, the layout of the uni is perfect and the only thing I can really complain about up here is the weather.

Campus is nice and compact, no need to travel ages to your lectures. Furthest building is probably the business school but still only 10 minutes away! Plenty of space for computers, but a bit tricky to get one when you need one when it’s exam season! I studied marketing at the business school - a lot of modules to choose from in second and third year, with the option to do Spanish and a placement year- two massive must haves when I was deciding on universities! Student Union is good for first years, but you tend to drift from it in second and third year. But overall the Uni is fantastic, great staff, great atmosphere and of course an amazing city!

Overall, Newcastle University is a great place to go study. The main campus is very pretty and a lot of effort is made to keep the gardens in top condition throughout the year. Facilities are good, some buildings need a bit of an upgrade as they are getting a bit old. Student Union is very active, lots of events going on all throughout the year. Sports facilities are top notch, and IT services are good. The admin side of NU can be a bit confusing but staff are usually good at helping you out. Newcastle is also an amazing city with everything a student needs.

Good uni, great location -everyhing is close, affordable and has a wide range of activities to do, not just clubs. Student union has lots of events going, very informative. Kings gate facilities are accessible and helpful. Enjoyed my time at newcastle uni.

I highly recommend Newcastle University to anyone thinking about applying to go there. The campus is beautiful and it is right next to Northumberland street where all the shops are in Newcastle. There are 2 main libraries which are of an excellent quality and other computer clusters around the university. I study modern languages and we have our own languages library which is excellent. The student union is great and there are lots of societies that you can join. Also there is a university gym on campus that has great facilities and classes.

The university is aesthetically pleasing however while I was in lectures there was constant building work going on which was distracting for both the students and lecturers. I felt that at least four of my lectures were almost completely useless in teaching their subjects and I ended up having to teach myself everything even after attending the lectures or looking on recap for the lectures previous.

Very beautiful campus. Teaching could be better. Some parts of the university have been neglected. Not great for practical subjects.

The university facilities are really good, although quite standard i.e. gym etc. There's an abundance of societies on offer. The students union is quite average and gigs are on about twice a month. However, club nights no longer exist at the union and drinks are quite expensive compared to other bars in Newcastle. The careers service is extremely useful. The course I did was unorganized and not well structured. While I was at university the course dropped 15 places down the ratings and went from 98% student satisfaction to 58%.

The campus at Newcastle is stunning and has a variety of areas which are suitable for all kinds of study and relaxation. The facilities are excellent too, and the tutors provide support when you need it.

Newcastle is a great city for lots of aspects, it's a small city but with a lot packed in with lots of different scenes. There's great clubs, bars and pubs and also the quayside. The facilities and teaching for my psychology course is great and there's lots of opportunities provided. A lot of uni accommodation is very good but for mine at castle leazes was expensive for what you got.

Best university you could ever choose. Lots of new facilities and equipment needed. As a Chemistry student I always get all I need in the labs since they provide you with everything starting from your personal spatula, calculator to your fresh white lab coat and safety specs. You will not fin yourself confused as everything is clearly labelled and there are lots of helpful staff that is there for you.
