Excellent campus and good student atmosphere. Fantastic study facilities from the Main library to the Learning commons. The physics course is very well structured and we are lucky to have world class facilities in the Schuster building, Alan Turing, PSI, Jodrell bank and Graphene institute. Excellent careers service events and support. A wide range of excellent sports clubs and societies.

I think the University facilities and support are excellent and the staff are amazing! Great value for money.

Excellent uni, beautiful old buildings, and quality teaching. There are people from all over the world and from tons of different backgrounds all working towards the same goals!

The University of Manchester is simply spectacular. Located in a wonderful city that boasts an array of affordable attractions- the student dream!!

The University campus is big. The lecture theatres are big, there is enough space for 300 people. There is always a place to study.

great night life, good uni, real life experience and commuting. What your put through in your student experience will brutally ensure you're ready for the big bad world.

Very good facillities, emotional support and study support. Freshers week is very informative and helps you get to know a lot of new people. The campus has various libraries for you to pick which one you work best in! An amazing place to be a student.

The campus is increasing its green spaces which is great. The library facilities are good however the water machines are v slow as is the cafe. My course is archaeology which is fantastic. Couldn’t recommend it more - the staff are great. The student union however has been redone and it is now hideous in colour and design. It also has a horrid smell

Brilliant amazing good quality and nice atmosphere. Teaching is good. Uni is in prime location as the city centre is not far and teaching is good.

Really nice campus: Mix of modern and historic buildings Lots of space to work eg libraries and computer suites in every building The library staff are really friendly and always helpful Don't use students union or careers service much as don't know about them

Good facilities and easy to navigate campus. High quality teaching with all lectures being podcasted.

It’s decent, very nice university but north campus could do with upgrading as the buildings aren’t very nice

Very good university, accommodation is really cheap and still very good, all accommodation is gated and 24 hr security guards

Excellent city with good links to industry and top notch teaching. Resources and facilities are of the highest standard, particularly in the engineering department where there is cutting edge machinery and equipment. Studying facilities are well serviced and clean with am excellent learning atmosphere for all types of learners.

The lecturers are great and are very helpful when it comes to information regarding exams and assignments.

This is a fantastic university! The facilities in my faculty are amazing and all my lecturers are top class. You get many opportunities here to forward yourself and support is excellent. The SU is massive and very active, with many events put on throughout the year. Some accommodation could do with being updating but mine was excellent.

Everything is pretty good here in Manchester, nice environment and surroundings, good use of technology in all aspects including podcasting of lectures.

If you get involved in the societies and clubs that are available it will definitely help you make the most of your time at Manchester as this is were many people meet a lot of their friends. The students union host events often such as Pangaea festival twice a year and Athletics union night every Wednesday which are pretty fun. I would say if you don't get involved then there isn't a huge sense of community at Manchester and you may end up feeling a bit isolated, get involved early on and don't leave it too late.

The uni itself is really beautiful although there has been loads of building work lately which I suppose is what they've decided to spending our 9k a year on. The teaching is good and there's usually loads online like podcasts and notes if you need to catch up on anything. The union is good and they put on a lot in the year but in the summer they changed the layout of the inside of the actual building to be like little stalls for each thing which ngl is way worse than it was before. In general though would recommend this uni.

The campus is great as everything is in close proximity. It has a really nice student vibe around on campus and it's great to see this buzz of students around our Oxford road. The facilities are exceptional, we get to use state of the art technologies in physiology and the use of the cadavers really aids learning for dental and medical students like myself. The students union is a great place to go for lunch and is usually the meet up for many socials too. It's a great service for any external support too. The course is relatively well organised and structured and the early clickable expsoure allows students to gain a lot of patient experience and hone in on their clinical skills. The library and learning commons facilities is brilliant at Manchester as it is a great place to study on your own for but also for group study too especially with the small group study rooms too.
