The university is great. Everything you need is provided to you with ease. Thr fact that it is spread over the city makes it blend well with its surroundings which indeed is beautiful.

Staying in the main campus of the university is really great fun because it's very clean and safe and everything is close together. If you do have to go to the north campus the 147 bus is free for students which is perfect so you don't have to walk for a long time in the rain or cold.

The university of Manchester is great for so many reasons! Firstly the quality of the courses ( I did geography) is high, with very enthusiastic and supportive staff. Moreover, the campus is beautiful with the perfect blend of old and new buildings, halls were super cheap compared to my friends at other unis. Most importantly the city itself is unreal with something for everyone and all types of people, so your spoilt for choice in terms of friends and how you spend your time! If you want a good balance of fun as well we as a highly values degree, I can’t recommend Manchester enough.

I find the university experience in Manchester excellent. Lecturers are supportive, even despite the strikes. They are enthusiastic about their specialities. However, the student union renovations make it hard to enjoy the student union as much.

The university offers a great learning experience! Apart from accessible lecturers, there are various places on campus where you can study – change of scenery is great! A balance of study and social is definitely what you get here.

Gorgeous old buildings, a well-stocked library and a great location - what more could you ask for? The staff are great and the union is pretty good too.

City campus is an easy five minute walk from city centre, beautiful buildings (some more so than others). Most lectures are podcasted. 10/10

Big campus, with amazing staffs. Friendly students and flatmates, who took me around the city in the first month of university. The university of manchester is a part of Russel group. It is only 20 minutes by bus and only 10 minutes walk away to the longest curry mile in Europe. The teachers are amazing, i understand 70-80% of what is going on during lecture with helpful tutors also. If you walk pass the universtiy, it feels like you just enter Hogwarts from Harry Potter. The university even have their own museum, and the best part is the John Ryland library located in Deansgate, it is a go to place for every manchester student, and one of the first places i take my friends to whenever they visity Manchester. The university also has the Alan gilbert learning common, which open 24/7, they also provide private rooms, you will probably want to book the rooms early, especially during exam periods, it is always crowded. I had never believed that i will apply for Manchester, and here i am, and i enjoy every single minutes here.

The campus is massive, well equipped with anything a student would ever require. The staff are all extremely friendly, tutors always supportive and there's always activities going on throughout the year so you never get bored. With the strikes, they have been brilliant in supporting and reassuring us that it would be taken into consideration, going so far as to omitting and revising the exam content to include only what we have covered.

I think the university has a great campus and facilities . The careers services are very supporting and really take care of the students. I think the course which I am doing fits my job profile. International Business and Management would help me to develop basic skills of management . I think the overall experience in studying at such a prestigious college is great.

They create various events and fairs bu the executive team ins't really present in student's lives. No one really knows what is happening after they're elected. But overall it is a fantastic university

The campus is very nice and the people try very hard for everyone to feel welcome. The best thing are the learning facilities, especially the libraries. Career events happen almost every week, and are very well organised. Students union is amazing, it offers a variety of societies and organises events all the time. The course is very well structured, especially the personal tutoring and PASS groups system, which helps everyone to understand and learn faster.

The University of Manchester is wonderful. I may be a bit biased, as I'm a local, but the university is at the heart of a vibrant city, where there are always things to do, places to visit, and a wealth of history to explore.

The main campus is compact so you never have to walk too far between lectures and there are plenty of computers and study spaces across campus. There are shops and cafes on campus for food. The student support services are easy to access and the staff are helpful

Great SU with lots of societies and events going on around campus throughout the year. Good online information regarding facilities and day to day uni life such as the campus microwave map! Only downside is how far halls are away from the main campus.

The campus is amazing! With everything you need within walling distance! Multiple working spaces and including a huge library, the students Union has a bar and restaurant, essential stationery shop, multiple food shacks and even Starbucks! Plus working spaces with even more areas nearby to work independently or in groups!

Comparing to UCLA where I am on my year abroad, the oragization and structure of the courses is more consistent at Mancheater. Courses progress in in different specialization without overlapping curriculum. It's lot more efficient than at UCLA for example.

A truly first class physics course. Excellent facilities, world class staff and a brilliant place to study for physics. The lecturers love a chat and you always feel like there is plenty of support if you need it. The University also has some excellent societies and sports clubs, mainly cricket and hiking for myself, but there is definitely a club/society for everyone. I've had an excellent experience so far and would recommend Manchester to anyone. You'll never be short of things to do, whether it'd be pubs/clubs, sports, hiking or even escape rooms (there's plenty of these to try!).

The psychology course is great. Always learning up to date things. The campus has been improved recently and looks very nice on oxford road. Fantastic university

nice study facilities, nice rooms, good teaching, good student satisfaction rates. Lecturers are willing to help, most offer extra office hours. The university is in the middle of town- so there's always something to do!

The campus is very big with many libraries, student halls, cafe’s and places for socialising. The Student Union building is right in the centre, meaning you are never too far from all the information and activities you might need. Everything is within walking distance too, making the university campus an overall excellent place to study and live.

University of Manchester feels spacious. It feels welcoming. It feels like home. There are numerous study spaces, created to be relaxing, both uni-wide and in every school/department. There's always help available if you need. The many varieties of courses have a solid structure and lecturers are well-learned and their love for their area of study is certainly infectious.
