Great course support and organisation! Lots of help available if you need extra support. Skills tutors very helpful and willing to teach, as well as facilities available for use outside of timetabled classes.

Overall I had the best 4 years at Manchester. There's so much going on and the city's so busy, you'll never run out of things to do. Manchester really focuses on the student experience. Their students gain skills in leadership, social responsibility and employability and there are a lot of opportunities for students who come from lower income backgrounds to improve social mobility

I love the structure of the academic campus vs the accomodation campus. Having Fallowfield as a big centre where everyone is together living is really nice, and having the academic buildings slightly seperate means you are more likely to stay at uni all day to work in the library and such rather than go home to nap.

Firstly I think both campuses (main and north) are nice however as a north campus student I feel I miss out on a lot of activities that are held in the SU and other main campus locations. Also the food options are not as good on North campus. However both campuses feel safe and have adequate green space. In north campus particularly I think some of the facilities like the toilets are outdated and it would be nice to see them improved. Also the computer facilities would benefit from being upgraded as there is never enough computers. I don’t really have an opinion on the students union as I am never aware of the activities and events they run as I am on north campus. I do feel they could do more to include all students. The actual building is fine and has everything you need I suppose but again I rarely visit. I have found the careers service very useful and it seems like a good use of the universities money. While I enjoy my course I do feel it could be structured better, especially for those taking the industry option, as a 6 month placement is difficult to come across and I know many people have struggled to find one.

Really nice university in a wonderful metropolitan city. The campus is fantastic and has superb facilities.

the nightlife is brilliant, the campus is massive with lots of socities and libraries and cafes. There's literally something for everyone. The SU is decent, putting on lots of events and hosting PANGEA. However, the prices of the SU bar aren't the best around. Careers service is helpful, providing grants and bursaries to encourage students to travel for work experience.

My course is good and has a good range of modules. The lab facilities are good. The students union could put on more events but it is good. Careers services are good and provide lots of help. The campus is nice and has good work spaces.

The main campus is huge with quite a few libraries and an entire building of study spaces filled with computers and other facilities. I enjoy my course, it’s mostly what I have expected from uni. Maybe they could do a better job on practical teaching, but overall the level is good.

The facilities are amazing and the learning spaces are great. There's a variety of well equipped sports facilities which only really lose out on their expense, which is still relatively cheaper than external facilities.

Nice big campus, good range of clubs and societies. The anime club is fantastic, I'm on exchange for just a semester but they're really friendly.

The university is a very warm and welcoming place for students from all around the country. I feel very comfortable here, and the staff are all lovely and very helpful with anything I need help with. I have access to multiple thing over the campus such as areas to study, computers, food stalls and just places to sit and socialise, which makes it a very comfortable place to be throughout the day and week. I am now in second year and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time so far at Manchester university, and I am really looking forward to the rest of my time at this uni. I feel it has helped my confidence grow greatly, and has made me into the person I’d always hoped I would become!

The campus is situated along oxford road which is the heart of Manchester as they are easily accessible and many restaurants located there. The distance between each building is just a short distance and people can reach the building by walking. There is a free shuttle bus to move from main university to the north campus which operates every 10 minutes. The facilities can be improved to meet students expectation.

Big city with lots of students but fallowfield is far out from Manchester so don’t get to see much of city. Facilities are okay but not great for the number of students and amount of money the union must get. Union is average - been redone so abit better but nothing special. Halls are poor. But good uni experience

My course is alright even if there’s not a lot of diversity within the students. Some of them are to not say “racist”

I love the university. They are helpful and warm towards international students. The tutors are always there for helping you out. I have made some friends here who I will cherish for the rest of my life. I absolutely love being at university and it is definitely one of the best times of my life.

Wonderful, full of intelligent and friendly people from all walks of the earth. Recommended for anyone as long as they work had at sixth form. The teaching is absolutely phonemenal as they all experienced qualified teachers who offer to guide students through uni life

Pretty decent uni. Uni accommodations are good or at least the prvt ones are. The uni itself is very nice and staff are grwatt

The support offered by the uni during exam time is really good, but often the information given about exams differs between each tutor which is really not helpful when trying to prepare. The Union should have a proper venue, the bar isn’t really that great for a night out and the alcohol isn’t cheap either.

The diversity in Manchester University is something very special. There’s always something going on and something to do. Everyone is super helpful and so smiley. The campus isn’t beautiful and the weather... well it’s manchester. But if you put that aside, as a medical student at Manchester- I would say it’s an amazing experience.

A large student population, meaning lots of societies to choose from. Large class size is kind of annoying, but most professors make time for the students, I feel like. I like that campus is near the city centre. I have not had any luck with the careers service, but we have so many alumni, hopefully job search will be ok.

Excellent teaching quality, poorly run. Universities are institutions of education, not money making businesses.
