I find my course to be really interesting, and the lectures are by and large useful for the topic, and the lecturers seem genuinely engaged and very helpful on the whole.

Campus is old and too overcrowded Facilities are not up to modern standard for universities My course is interesting but very intense Student Union is really good, probably best thing about the university Organisation has been okay overall

The people are lovely and there are a lot of resources. I think the food on campus could have more affordable options but I understand that they like to partner with growing companies that are fairtrade and organic.

The University is full of activities, you won't have to worry about bot having what to do. Studies feels like high quality, however, I am disappointed how little studying places there are. Most libraries are very old and unpleasant to spend in. Ali G is the most comfortable place to study but you barely find a place to sit in it.

University is generally good. There are pros such as good facilities for students to study and to use Computer in university area. The location of university is great. Students can easily find accommodation that is near to the school so they don't have to worry about transportation. In term of transportation, university is located at Oxford Road which is a large road for buses. This makes transportation very convenient for students. Staff and lecture are helpful. A lot of society activities, international students don't have to worry to be left out. There are also cons such as Food in canteen can be a bit pricy. Less guide for international student to complete all the essential form.

The university of Manchester is a world reknowned University with TOP quality lecturers and facilities. Being a student here really lifts some anxiety in building up your career or finding your dream job. The career service in the university is outstanding and there is always a person available to advice you with just one appointment away. The student union is one of the most efficient in guiding a society.

Manchester is a great place for students, the university is in the center of everything. The teaching is interesting and stimulation. But the mental health services aren't great

The university has really good facilities on and off campus! The student union has a big location located next to Manchester academy which hosts lots of events and offer lots of food and cheap drinks. The university has lots of places to study including the modern Alan Gilbert learning commons which is open 24 hours a day!

Studios are good but provided with no materials on my course and printing is a massive hassle and expensive, accommodation is poor

Great university and a great city to live in. I recently graduated and secured a job within 2 months.

I really enjoy studying at Manchester, it's the perfect mix of excellent teaching and living in a fun city. The staff have always been supportive and available to give me extra help on assignments when I needed it. The facilities on campus are good, with a cheap gym and 24hr study spaces. There is also yoga and other relaxation classes and also workshops available to help deal with stress.

My course is good but should be more specific to zoology, there is not much relevant work in first year. Facilities are very good and lots of study space. Careers service are very helpful and put on lots of events and want to help as much as possible.

The University of Manchester has a unique ability to be a centre of excellence and an outstanding place to thrive academically, whilst still retaining a relaxed, friendly environment. Being situated in arguably the greatest city in the UK only adds to a student's experience here. And student life in Fallowfield seems to be like no other 'student village' in the country. However, the university is very large, and Manchester is quite a large city. This may leave some students feeling overwhelmed if this is something they are not suited to.

The academic status of the university is of high standard and retains its prestige ranking nationally and internationally.

I think the campus was situated in a perfect place because you’re so close to the actual city meaning that you mingle with people from the university and not. I think in general the facilities have improved massively and I was very thankful for the microwaves that were put on campus. The student union in my opinion was rather useless because no one I know actually used it because the city was just there.

Good university, great city, great student culture. I have found that most learning based things have been poorly organised, but the uni has good facilities.

Campus is nice, students union very involved. Library services not the best, not enough space for everyone- especially near exam time. Time consuming walking around to find study space

Manchester uni has excellent facilities and staff, the campus is big and has everything needed. The student union is good, there are constantly activities on and things to do. The only issue I have is with the communication, there is little information actually given to you directly about all of the services which the uni provides and where to find information about them.

The course I am taking is MPharm. The overall structure of the course was very organised. This is because it not only includes lectures to increase our clinical knowledge but it also provides us with a lot of placement opportunities. Prior to oriel application which is a new system where the employers across tbe country can recruit students based on their ranking, the university also provides us with some tips and exercises to guide us through the new process.

Really good uni with a lot of social activities and spaces for students. Student union is up to date and plenty of study spaces on campus. Could provide some more seating in the library and learning commons.

My course was fairly good, although the lecturers seemed to care more about their research than teaching. More variety of options would have been nice but it was fairly well organised. The campus is very nice but very spread out, and a lot of the halls need renovating quite badly. The union would be better if the bar reflected its student clientele, as the prices are as expensive as any of the bars in the city centre. I enjoyed my experience but it wasn’t fantastically organised.

Really good uni but the course could be more balanced - some units are a lot harder than others. Overall, pretty good with a good freshers week, good facilities and amazing research opportunities

ust intrigued by the process. Why did he think they would not accept him? “Well, look at me; I don’t look like an FBI agent, at least I didn’t at the time.” He was an Arab-American and a bit of an intellectual. “I just felt that I wasn’t a law-enforcement guy, that wasn’t what I wanted to do in my life. But I went, I took all the tests.” They offered him a job. Soufan, who had just completed a master’s in foreign relations, thought he would return to academia if it did not work out. Depending on the course, the level of academic support varies widely. However, the vibe on campus and the range of different people you'll meet in Manchester make this one of the best choice of Uni's in the country.
