Manchester's always been a city of movement and sound, from the Hacienda to the Warehouse Project, The Smiths to The 1975. Today you can explore the Northern Quarter's independent bars or the famous LGBTQ hub, Canal Street. Or head to one of the countless music venues: Liam Gallagher, Gorillaz and Ed Sheeran have all performed here in the last year.

Whatever you look for in a night out, Manchester will have something for you.

We offer over 8,000 rooms across 20 different halls. This means that you'll be guaranteed a place to live in first year.

We have halls in three locations, each with its own atmosphere, so you'll be able to find somewhere that feels like home. Whether your preference is en suite or shared bathrooms, catered or self-catered, we'll have somewhere to suit you. We also have family flats, single-sex halls and disabled access for those with specific needs.

Respectable uni with amazing library and building amenities, lots of resources available. But not a lot of personal individual help and mental support etc. The buildings vary a lot in how well kept they are
