Rugby League

Great bunch of lads! I'd never played rugby league before (despite playing union for most of my life) and the lads were incredibly welcoming and passionate about rugby league. There are many opportunities on offer to play representative rugby for teams at a higher level (midlands universities, south of england universities, and england universities) which gives you the opportunity to progress your skill set further along with meeting other players. One downside to the facilities that we have at the university is that we have no playing fields on campus, apart from an astroturf that we have to share with other societies at one time. Because of this, on a monday we have to travel to Lincoln rugby club, which can be difficult if there are a lack of cars available to travel there in.
