Feminist

This is a wonderful society and I am so proud to be a member of an organisation which discusses women's rights and societal issues associated with them, as well as focusing on how the struggles of being a woman in a man's world can be managed. Being a member of Leeds FemSoc has given me a sense of identity and has reminded me never to be afraid to stand up for my rights. It has served as an amazing opportunity to meet many new people from different backgrounds and hear their opinions on each debate as well as their own personal stories, which have both inspired and moved me. So, I am very much looking forward to the events and meetings to come next semester!
