The University or Leeds is a University part of the Russell group and therefore it should hage outstanding research however I do not feel as though the opportunities for undergraduates are advertised sufficiently

The campus, the facilities, your course, the student union, careers services and the organisation are good.

Facilities are perfect, my course is geophysics, it's ok, campus is perfect, everything else is ok.

The campus, location, union and range of both social and employment opportunities are crazy. Through the university I have managed to travel abroad for free, study in a different country, set up my own Society and trips, and get a decent part time job. I have lots of financial support from the uni too, as I get both a £2,500 bursary and a £3,000 scholarship in top of my student finance loans. The university also records all its lectures, so I am free to catch up whenever I want without missing any one off opportunities. I can't fault the uni at all, but the accommodation is ridiculously overpriced and small, so I would advise private accommodation from first year, and use societies to meet new people if that is what you are worried about.

University of Leeds is very sociable. They have a larger range of courses and I real like how close it is to the city. The accommodation is basic student accom and there are buses that come through the city to headingly all the time which is great. The city as a whole is very vibrant.

I like the uni. The campus might not be the prettiest but the architecture is good enough and well linked with different buildings of different faculty.

The campus is well linked together with different buildings of different faculties. The union is designed in a way that Student can relax and mingle around

The campus is beautiful and it's a great location. Everything is at a walking distance; we're close to the city centre and the infamous Hyde Park. Leeds uni's facilities are at the top. The recent renovations of the union are brilliant. The libraries are a great place to motivate yourself to start your assignments and the computer clusters are a life-saver.

The campus is great, being all on one site makes it very advantageous. With the new refurbishments, there are plenty of places to eat and places to sit. The courses are well put together and lecturers are very passionate about their areas of expertise.

The uni is good and the union is well equipped with a lot of things to do there. The lecturers are also good

Campus is very well serviced. Nice campus. Course has been mixed experience, some excellent lecturers and but other poorer ones. Social life is great by in large, great number and variety of societies to get involved in. Although it is difficult to balance given uni workload. All in all I'm enjoying uni!

The university of Leeds, is one of the best universities in the uk. I have attended here and in the last year it just won the top nursing school in the uk. The support from academic supporters is great they always give you that extra support and push you to achieve the best grades you can do. The uni just built a new area for clinical facilities and got in all new equipment for us to practice our nursing skills which has been extremely helpful putting theory into practice and it has allowed us all to get more hands on experience before qualifying as a nurse.

The University of Leeds is great and I would definitely recommend it to prospective undergraduates. I am an MA student here but I think the undergraduates probably have a better experience, as I am only here for one year and spend a lot of time out of the university. I will add though that my course, Medieval Studies, is really good with lots of options for modules and scope to specialise in a huge range of subject areas. The staff in my department are really helpful, approachable and knowledgeable. Feedback for assignments has sometimes taken quite a long time but after 4 years at university I have come to expect this anywhere. As I am only here for one year I have probably not used all the facilities on campus that are on offer and there may be some things I am not aware of. I have been impressed by the range of items in the libraries (and the fact there is more than one library) but disappointedly that unlike many unis the libraries are not 24hr, and the Brotherton Library closes at 5 on weekends which can be inconvenient. I briefly used the careers service to help with an application and it was very easy to make an appointment but at some points I found that the appointments booked up quickly. I regularly use the careers website which lists some internships and graduate opportunities and in fact got an internship that I found there. I also use the university’s mental health counselling service and I have been really impressed with this, it was easy to make an appointment and it only took about a week for my first appointment to be scheduled. I have heard that at times where students may be under more stress this service can get busier though. The student experience at Leeds is definitely very good with loads of different things to do. I came from a smaller university and there are a lot more sports and societies at Leeds. The union building is really nice with a few different venues in it for food and coffee in the daytime, and for alcohol and evening meals. Across the campus there are a few cafes and they are very reasonably priced. The nights out in the union are very popular and the drinks are also reasonably priced here, although of course there is the whole of the city to go out in too, and there is a lot to do in Leeds both day and night.

The facilities are all quite modern, there is plenty of activities to do all year round and there is most definitelu something for everyone.

Student union is good, being improved with more food opportunities and places to sit. Libraries are all good with good work spaces and lighting in most of them. The administration of a lot of departments could be better as I know many people have had issues. Similarly with striking lecturerers not much has been done to aid students for many courses.

My course is only offered in 5 other universities around the country. The course at Leeds is inspiring, eye opening and most importantly fun. The libraries are one of the best things for me as there is always somewhere you can find to study and get work done on campus.

Midwifery course has a really good balance of hands on placement and academic learning, preparing your for all elements of the future job and improving your skills once you’re qualified.

The campus is good, although even using the building finder/map on my phone it can occasionally be difficult to find places. In general modules can be good, but the way my course is split and structured isn't always ideal. For example, in second year I had no choice on modules other than my discoveries, which was dissapointing.

Good clean accommodation. Campus is near town. Good location. Enjoy the facilities. Lots of gym access and extra activities and clubs.

Beautiful campus with mostly excellent facilities. As an art and design student, i feel that the printing quality available to us could be slightly better, although this may be more caused by its overuse than its actual quality. The other facilities are good but the accessibility is problematic - only one technician in most facilities (specifically wood workshop) where it is only open until 4 everyday with a long 1 hour lunch where the workshop is shut! Not the technicians fault but there should be someone who can supervise over lunch at least! Furthermore it is shut for basically a month over easter which is a huge hinderence on my work that surrounds wooden sculpture! Compared to others that are painting etc, i now get much less time to fulfill my practice. The student union is great but i do prefer it the way it was before the revamp - the booths in terrace particularly! And the colours are a bit primary school-esque. Overall the union listens to suggestions. However, my friend said she suggested a meat free monday incentive in union bars and her superiors declined because they apparently said "this leaves no options for meat eaters"? Makes absolutely no sense to me. Only ever used the career services once, although i feel i was slightly unprepared (i was at the stage where i wasnt sure what i wanted to do after uni and i wanted to find my options) i feel 20 mins meetings are a bit on the short side (i understand they are always qiite busy) and maybe a written form of what we discussed wouldve been helpful too - took me ages to refind a website the staff showed me in our meeting within a couple of mins!

The student union has loads of good facilities and activities /things to do there. There's loads of really nice seating space to both socialise or do uni work. My course is interesting however can be a bit disorganised. The careers centre is organised and really useful.

The majority of lecturers are wonderful but some are a waste of time and there could be a lot better modules offered. The facilities are top notch. The student union is fantastic as well.

Studying geography - great course, wonderful teachers. Careers services are sufficient. Campus is the best I've seen yet
