Avoid if your a woman, BAME student or member of the LGBT community. Not very inclusive for most students

Unlike most political societies on campus, the Conservatives charge a membership fee. The society is renowned for being one of the least welcoming, and whilst many of the members are nice people, working class students are frowned upon, making this society one to avoid.

This society is an open minded one that treats its members with respect and had regular talks from prominent politicians, well worth a try even if you think it’s not your thing

I fully recommend this society - A broad and welcoming for all those who believe in a wide reach of Conservative Party values. We have a mixture of guest speakers, socials and weekly meetings. Membership is reasonably priced at £5 (in line with the party().

Meetings are every Wednesday at 6pm during term time, and consist of a relaxed political debate for around an hour, followed by drinks in one of the college bars. Very nice bunch of people, friendly atmosphere and welcoming of a range of opinions and views. Topics discussed are wide. Membership £5 per year which pays for lots of different guest speakers, mostly conservative MPs.
