I can proudly say that the teachers in this uni are helpful and therefore you when you need them. Although the university itself needs to be a little bit more organised. The lrc is a nice place to revise and the social life is very good as everyone is very friendly and willing to help

Teaching here is amazing always top quality. There’s a real sense of community, acgs groups, reading groups, food groups, it’s amazing so diverse and culturally varied, it’s an amazing place for anyone moving outside of London. Highly recommended

Very nice uni, in a great location (just 20min from central London). Lots of activities and social life, specially for international students. Amazing facilities and nice accommodations. In terms of the staff, teachers are well prepared and support is always available.

Modern university buildings with great support network. Online platform which enables lectures to be accessed remotely along with submission of assignments and access to textbooks and other academic material. Only downside is the lack of parking.

The univeristy of hertfordshire provide all the seevices for a student to be successful in their course. However this does not change the personal views of help and how to get it.

The university has everything you need either on campus or near by. The tutors on my course were very helpful and kind. The careers service is good because they can help you get a job for up to two year after you leave and they help you to decide what career path you want to take. They also have part time students jobs they can help you find whilst you are studying.

The have an excellent career service that are available all the time to give aevice wven post graduation. They aid and run classes on how to improve cvs and often have career days and invite many potential employers whom you can talk to and even apply to on the spot.

Science facilities are good along with the library and resources. Freshers week could be better! The organisation of the modules is sometimes not very good.

The university has great staff within health and social care. However I do believe that more choice should be given to students for placement allocation. Student well-being is fantastic.

I love the library at this university and that's actually where I have spend the most of my time. I didn't think there were a lot of activities going on and most of them were during the evening which as a commuter, I found it very difficult to attend any.

I feel like this is a very good university, and I get that sixth form feeling where teachers care about you, and your not alone

I started studying with the university of Hertfordshire in September 2017, since then the university has been a great help in my studies and supporting me along the way. I truly believe this university is been such a great opportunity for my future career and their willingness to help has motivated me to do my absolute best in my studies. I would totally recommend this university to anyone thinking of applying has it has great facilities for recreational activities and wide range of courses for anyone thinking of taking their career ahead in the future. The student union is always on hand for any problems related for the social and academic problems relating with students and the career service is very helpful in pointing you in the right direction for your future.

I’m currently studying Accounting and Finance in my 1st year at uni, and I’m liking the experience but my university itself is actually quite boring! Like, there’s barely anything to do around MY campus. I feel like the docial hub is on the other campus - the College Lane Campus - and the university should do more for those living on my campus or even just conmuting to study there - the De Haviland Campus! Other than that, the buildings are so nicely done with amazing designs!! And the student union hold laods of events, predominantly on the other campus :(, but I feel like they do try to satisfy all the students’ needs. All in all, I think it’s a lovely uni with amazing surroundings and lovely people

Easy access to all resources, well stocked libraries and very helpful tutors. I study most of my course online so I don't have lectures but my studio time in the university is very useful. As well as admin staff being available very easily whenever I need to contact them from home.

I started my course September 2015 in the law school at the university of Hertfordshire. The staff are amazing and helpful! Although, I feel that some of my marks did not reflect my feedback. However, great content and assistance! I’ve enjoyed my time here at the uni, and if I could go back again I’d still pick this uni.

The nightlife at Hertfordshire is no doubt one of the best with the Forum always hosting great events with fantastic performers ranging from UK to international artists. The Galleria is closely for food and shopping and one train will get you into Central London so you're not too far out. Halls are beautiful, I lived on College Lane and my room was so spacious compared to other universities I had seen my friends at. The course itself was good, I studied Law and if you missed a lecture due to a hangover, not to worry, you can access everything online!

Overall a great university! Very friendly teachers who will go out of their way to help you! Having two campuses is a little inconvenient but university life in general is really amazing. Fun nights in the club and good food available.

The campus is absolutely beautiful, always feels good arriving there no matter the time of day or weather. Teaching resources are awesome, especially for aerospace and automotive students. Online teaching resources pretty much saved my degree, being able to access lectures and tutorials online is also awesome. Some lecturers (*ahem* Goeff) are a waste of time to listen to but most others are very well educated and highly experienced. I have had a few inexcusable timetabling issues that resulted in stupid lecture rooms and timings and unrealistic deadlines but the appeals process is very comprehensive and usually sorts out issues like this.

I prefer the college lane campus because there are more things there, in terms of food. The library is also better despite the fact that it is uphil. The career services are really useful, they help with pretty much anything.

The atmosphere of university is friendly, cooperative and helpful. All departments are organised. The university has provided the students with various facilities relating from academic to social life.

The campus’s are really nice as I believe they have been renovated recently, however in terms of the facilities, there is a lot of room for improvement. To pay £9000 a year for education, we would expect printing to be free, electricity to work, computers to be fast and of great condition, and for tutors to teach without undermining a student. Also there have been occasions where I have gone to lecture and had to sit on the floor in an extremely over crowded room. Majority of the programme leaders are amazing and very helpful and encouraging.
