Becoming a Dynamites Cheerleader at the University of Gloucestershire was the best decision i made coming to university! They make you feel extremely welcome and I look forward to making others feel welcome next year.

Cheerleading is a sport predominant in females, which can sometimes cause some inevitable clashes in friendships and, therefore, make some situations uncomfortable. However, the sport is so much fun, with many elements to it, taking a lot of dedication due to the team work required. It brings people quickly close together and friendships have been made, where otherwise their paths may never have crossed. The communication from the committee is very strong, quick and clear and although there may be a lot of pressure to attend training and other cheer activities, I always have the best time with my team mates. It would be easier to progress for level 2 if we could have another training session on a sprung floor rather than the wooden sports all. Joining cheer was the best decision I made.
