GUCC is a very embracing club. Open to all walks of life regardless of previous kayaking experience. True the club kit is mostly shit, but you get on with it anyway. I've been with the club 3 years and have never had any issues, and I started with very little kayaking skill, and am now running grade 4/4+ rivers.
