Beautiful buildings on campus. The lecture theartes I have attended have been well set out. My course is very interesting so its enjoyable (to an extent) to learn. There are many lectures throughout giving careers advice with an option of 1-1 appointments with an advisor.

One of the finest university's in the UK containing help for students from every single part of the world. Couldn't have been more happy to be studying at the University of Glasgow. I would highly recommend international students as well as the students from UK to join the university and see for yourself exactly what I mean. They have a very supportive staff, the teachers are the ones that encourage more and more students to participate and the way that they teach is something most people can't find in other universities. All the activities from the first week to the last week of the university will be a never ending experience.

It is a perfect university with lots of student facilities provided and student free time activities provided by unions. Educations is priceless with high qualified staff. Career services are also very well organised to help you in every aspect.

Glasgow uni, one of the best uni around the world and a really friendly university for abroad students. The atmosphere is incredibly nice. There is people from all over the world and you can exchange different points of views, ideas and enjoy other's culture(and also new tasty food). In addition, the facilities are great, overall the modern library. Honestly the library is amazing and the schedule is perfect, it's open until 2a.m.

University focuses on "bringing world changers" and building new facilities year by year but does not oversee the mistakes within the University. Recently, a scandal regarding one of the Union's policies came up regarding sexual misconduct, Barclays medical centre is now under fire as well for not treating students and just turning them down; apart from that, academic wise, this University falls behind in delivering quality lectures that would keep students interested as well as it fails to oversee departments (faculties) that are clearly a big mess (Humanities in particular) where in November students still have no dissertation advisors and the courses they take make them feel like trial mice.

The campus is one of the best I've seen so far. The lecturers are so helpful and we as students get so much attention. The library has a lot of useful books that we can borrow.

Great facilities with 2 lively student unions and a 12 floor library with lots of study spaces. I study geography where the staff are all lovely and helpful, and make my experience of the uni very positive. The careers service is good with appointments available regularly to meet and get help with CVs or to learn about future pathways/internships available.

Not a great university. Doesn't feel like they care for their students, more interested in their ratings and rankings and appearance rather than student satisfaction and health. Mental health services and support are extremely poor with month long waiting periods, no follow ups and not given enough of the much needed funds or attention. I wouldn't rate the university itself highly at all. The only thing that salvaged my experience was the gorgeous campus and the people I met. Halls are extremely poor and horribly organised, during my year the main halls didn't pass their fire safety inspection so got placed in a brand new facility the other side of town, further away from campus. Didn't get any reimbursement for the cost of travel which amounted to £500 and the halls were barely furnished, done quickly in a last minute job. Regarding the courses I took their wasn't enough attention given to all the students. Lecturers found their favourite students and were given preferential treatment in a lot of cases. And there was no consistency across the years in grading meaning previous graduates graduated with higher qualifications. There was also no consistency in aid or advice in advancing with your degree. I got into the uni to study French and psychology but wasn't permitted to repeat any psychology exam to make up the one mark I was missing in order to proceed to honours. None of this was made clear when applying for the course and had it been it would have changed my decision to attend the university. Furthermore they oversubscribed for the psychology course that year which is why there was a higher pass mark and why I wasn't allowed to proceed to honours. But the year below me had fewer people and a lower pass mark to get into honours. Extremely unfair and no consistency. Especially when considered I knew people who were allowed to repeat exams in other courses several times and even when they failed them they were allowed to repeat the entire year, twice! There was also no contact with the university throughout my year abroad to see how you were getting on. Student unions were also extremely cliquey and American-sorority-group-like with sport groups making for uncomfortable experiences at times. The careers services were poorly organised. They had events for graduate jobs organised and available only for final year students where at that point the deadline for applications were already passed and if there were things required for graduate jobs there wasn't enough time to do this. I also booked an appointment with a careers advisor to discuss how to get into a masters course and the advice I received was to look on the university website which I had already done and couldn't find what I was looking for. Overall a superficial university with very little substance. I expected a lot more from it. Not worth the money by a long shot.

Campus is a bit old, could do with some renovations of some building. Like the chemistry building. However, great library, very massive. Also great gym at an affordable price.

Having studied at Glasgow for a few years now I have gotten to grips with the careers service and the student support systems quite well. They offer great help with no judgement with any of the problems I bring to them. The way they handled it made me realise that I definitely wasn't alone in with my mental health struggles and that it was alright to ask for help. They really have been a great help to me.

Such a stunning university looks amazing but most students are very weird, vegans, hippies you name it.

Really amazing uni. Love my course structure and the teaching methods used. I am a medical student and the medical building is beautiful and open 24/7! We are offered many career workshops and sessions which are really helpful. Started university this year and have really enjoyed it so far and am really looking forward to the next few years.

I really like the look of the campus and the facilities we have access to in the buildings such as the cafes and the labs. I study statistics and I feel that it's a very good course with a lot of information which will help me get a job in the future

Beautiful campus, the union is class, always a craic night in beer bar! Billiards room is great for a game of pool/snooker and a couple to chill out. Earth science department is brilliant very friendly and lecturers very good. Very close to subway if you need to get into centre.
