Looks like Hogwarts and teaches better than most. Excellent reputation and internationally known for it's field of medicine (2nd best in the UK) and advancements in various fields including cardiology and neuroscience, as demonstrated by the creation of the Glasgow Coma Scale used for assessment of consciousness worldwide. Moreover, it is a vibrant and lively location in the west end of Glasgow, great for social activity and entertaining events.

I am an exchange student and I find that the services by the university is good. Although it does not have the luxury of sparse land and abundance of high-tech class rooms, the lecturers do their best.

The lectures themselves are of a high quality, with intellectual teaching staff and lovely lecture venues and locations. The sports facilities within the University are state of the art and very modern, especially when compared to the options available to other universities.

Please add more supports to international students. Especially Asian students. They have a severe problem with their language and academic system.

The university is providing all the services students ( at lest me ) need, I highly recommend it. All kind of support is provided, that is to say face to face as well as online. Answers to our questions are relatively quick.

There is always something to do, between food places or in the unions. Also, the building looks and is amazing. The teaching is of a great quality. I would definetly recommend to future applicants.

Overall I am satisfied with the university, especially the maths department because they really make sure you get enough work to comprehend the material. The library is huge (11 floors) and has basically all the books you might need. The campus is quite big, but it's relatively easy to get places. I especially like the fact that there's one main road on university avenue and the rest is pavements and paths and minor roads which makes it safe to walk around the campus. I also like how the University is both old fashioned and contemporary in a way i.e. how buildings have an old fashioned and traditional exterior and a more modern interior. In terms of support, I like the fact that every student is assigned an advisor to whom they can come with any problem. Mine is very supportive and helped me a lot throughout my issue - changing my degree. I also heard there's a counselling service within the University and its great for people who need someone to talk to. I am not an active member of the University community, but I know we have hundreds of clubs suited for everyone and anyone. We have two student unions - Queen Margaret Union and Glasgow University Union. QMU is suited for people who are more artsy and they do concerts and weekly activities. GUU is for people who are more sporty. You can join both unions, one of them or neither, but membership does get you discounts. QMU has a bubble tea bar inside and GUU has a subway and both of these seem to be popular. We also have a Lgbtq+ community (GULGBTQ+) who are very active, for example we are now celebrating LGBTQ+ history month. They also organise weekly lesbian coffee events. Well, I mean there's just so much to talk about and give the University credit for. It's fun, accessible and will give you great education. I am only a first year and I am already having a blast.

I am currently studying primary education at the university of Glasgow, dumfries campus. I love the small and community feel of being at the dumfries campus whilst having the UofG standard of teaching.

University of Glasgow has great facilities and an amazing library. The university itself is situated in a good location in the West of Glasgow with easy links to the city centre. There is plenty of facilities such as food and has four student bodies with the SRC being the general main one. Support is good and there is recording facilities in a lot of lecture rooms.

The Unions are fantastic, campus is top notch and currently undergoing major improvements. A couple of the lecturers are not the best but that's not to say there aren't others who are better.
