The University exceeded my expectations! The classes, although difficult and different from the USA are manageable because I have wonderful teachers. Glasgow uni requires very independent learning outside of the classroom but not once did I ever feel alone in the learning process. All the teachers were very approachable and willing to work with you outside of class. Beyond that, the campus has a lot of useful resources to help you succeed. I have personally taken advantage of LEADS for every single essay I have had to write at glasgow uni and I feel I did better because of their help! Outside of school there is a club or team for every thing imaginable! I joined one of the dance clubs and have made my best friends from just that experience and it felt good to get involved and meet people outside of my glass. The only downside about the uni is that I have had a hard time trying to find a good place to study on campus that is not the library. Every student and their mother is at the library at all hours of day meaning it is always crowded. It is good that so many students want to study but I think the crowdness of the library signifies the lack of other study spaces on campus because everyone must cram there.

Campus is gorgeous and stunning. Old but eye-catching, especially during spring and summer. It’s located at West End where students can explore lots of restaurants and museums.

Pros - I thoroughly enjoy studying at Glasgow University. The buildings look like something from a Harry Potter set and it is carefully juxtaposed with the modern, dynamic buildings popping up recently. The Medical School has high tech learning tools for better quality teaching and understanding. Cons - There are so many students at Glasgow, sometimes there aren't enough quiet spaces as it is always busy. There is a shortage of study spaces, especially during exam time! Also, there is no University parking, which is so frustrating getting into the University campus!

It is an excellent campus with loads of factilities. The library is amazing and open really late which is a blessing during exam period. The cafes on campus do really great hot food at a reasonable price and the location of the university means there is easy access to lots of shops.

I am studying a masters at the University of Glasgow and it's my first year here and I love it! The teaching staff are excellent- they are so helpful, friendly, and really will do all they can to help you out. They actually treat you like a human and listen to what you have to say and there is clear mutual respect between both teachers and students. The teaching is just brilliant.

Stunning campus, great university and amazing staff! I have been studying since 2016 at the university of Glasgow and i have had the best time. The only one thing I would mention is that it's hard to find a seat in the library but there are many places to study within each induvidial school.

Beautiful buildings on campus. The lecture theartes I have attended have been well set out. My course is very interesting so its enjoyable (to an extent) to learn. There are many lectures throughout giving careers advice with an option of 1-1 appointments with an advisor.

One of the finest university's in the UK containing help for students from every single part of the world. Couldn't have been more happy to be studying at the University of Glasgow. I would highly recommend international students as well as the students from UK to join the university and see for yourself exactly what I mean. They have a very supportive staff, the teachers are the ones that encourage more and more students to participate and the way that they teach is something most people can't find in other universities. All the activities from the first week to the last week of the university will be a never ending experience.

The campus is one of the best I've seen so far. The lecturers are so helpful and we as students get so much attention. The library has a lot of useful books that we can borrow.

Great facilities with 2 lively student unions and a 12 floor library with lots of study spaces. I study geography where the staff are all lovely and helpful, and make my experience of the uni very positive. The careers service is good with appointments available regularly to meet and get help with CVs or to learn about future pathways/internships available.
