University of Exeter

The campus is nice, lots of greenery and a few nice looking buildings, especially the Forum. However the physics building is horrible to look at, even if it is the highest point in Exeter. The student Marketplace ship is ridiculously expensive, as are items purchased from the Student Guild. However The Ram and The Grove are good cheap places to eat. There could be more seating and social areas as finding a place to work outside of the library or a place to eat can be difficult at busy times. My modern languages course (French and Italian) is generally well organised and I feel that I have learnt quickly and effectively. However my year abroad which I have just completed was not well organised and I was given very little support in finding a placement or housing which was very disappointing and stressful.

University of Exeter is an extremely student friendly place. It’s top rating for business school completely substantiates. They have a portal with all the available job vacancies and the portal is regularly updated, so that’s great! All in all it was a lovely experience!

The university campus I use is at streatham campus. The campus is quite big and have lots of greenery. The forum hill could be a bit steep and needs time to get used to it. A lot of academic buildings are at streatham campus and a few located in st lukes campus.

Exeter Uni has a beautiful campus with loads of greenery. The facilities are good and there are a couple nice independent coffee shops.

The campus is very modern and has a really good landscape. There are quite a few restaurants and eating areas on campus. Additionally from a work perspective the tutors and lecturers are mostly very approachable and friendly.

I am in my fourth year and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here, the campus is beautiful which is perfect for getting some space and clean air when the work gets tough! My course has been really interesting (Civil Engineering) with lots of institutional talks and lectures geared towards the outside world. The city is the perfect size with enough clubs and bars to keep you entertained yet not big enough as to feel unsafe and stressful. There are endless societies to get involved with and make the most out of, I have started Muay Thai this term and it has been great fun.

I'm currently at the Penryn campus which, overall, has been amazing. The course is great, the lecturers are motivated. At times the course can be a bit disorganised. The surrounding area is beautiful and although it isn't the liveliest, there is still so much to do, especially if you have access to a car.

Plenty of exam and mental health support. Modern facilities and eco friendly to boot! However have had a few bad experiences with organisation of facalties over exam time. There is also not much diversity in campus!

Wish there were more cheaper valuable food options. Great lecturers. Need more space for students to study in the library tho :(

Bundles of fun. They are constantly investing in making the campus better. The lecturers are very supportive in the maths department and my work is always returned promptly

The campus has the highest tree to student ratio making it lovely to live in, accommodation is in ideal location for both lectures and nightlife, everything at the uni within walking distance which was something I really looked for in a uni.

I love my university. There is so much to do and enjoy. The town is quite small so nothing is ever too far to get to. The student union does a great job at encouraging inclusivity. There are loads of different societies to get involved with so there is never the chance to be bored. I would highly recommend coming here. The courses are interesting and well run as well as competitive and will leave you in good stead when you leave university and look to find a job.

A really good university with great facilities and an abundance of societies to get involved with. The campus is really beautiful and the sports park is great. The library is a little disappointing compared to other universities I have seen.

The undergraduate medical science course is a fantastic course offering a range of modules which asses different skills. It allows development of team work, presentation and scientific writing skills. The careers service offered by the university is outstanding, easily accessible and efficient. Wide range of clubs are also offered and the university has a very welcoming and refreshing environment.

The campus is lovely with a short walking distance from halls to lectures. There is a wide range of shops/cafes to get lunch with comida a particular favourite of mine. I am currently in my 3rd year of studying maths and I am really enjoying the course. There is plenty of support on offer that is easy to access. Overall, this is an excellent uni I am proud to be a student at.

Lovely campus university with too many hills - the gym itself being on the tallest of them all (ironic). Has good food and a variety of chains present.

The university is very good with everything situated close together which is helpful. There is a good career services and is easy to book appointments although I have not yet used it. The campus could use a few more locations where computers are available to use as these are often full and it is not always easy to bring a laptop! However the uni has expanded the working area by creating hubs which is great! I take the mathematics course which is laid out well although in third year having all exams in summer is very stressful and maybe one or two could be in January exam time

Really enjoying it. I find the course interesting. It is certainly difficult but with hard work it's manageable and the lecturers do help.

Campus and resources are fantastic and very modern/accessible. The only down side is the snobs that go here

The campus is clean, modern and very green. It feels safe and has some beautiful spots. There are numerous food places, new study spaces and very helpful hubs for advice on modules etc. I feel supported in my course and greatly enjoy it. The facilities and the networking opportunities we are given are really helpful and make studying at Exeter worth while.
