Good teaching, Nice campus with nice new buildings. Nice rural areas to walk around. Gym is very good with plenty of facilities. Nightclubs are good but could be cheaper.

The campus is great and facilities are even better. However, it’s not very diverse. A lot of privately educated students which can sometimes mean others feel alienated, especially in different halls. I don’t believe money should be an issue throughout university which is perhaps something that impacts social lives throughout the university. Both halls and student housing around the area are remarkably expensive, with houses averaging about £130 a week which is almost london prices! this makes it hard for many without the financial backing of their parents. However, the close proximities of houses to the university is great and it’s a lovely green campus. The campus is however inaccessible to those with disabilities due to the hills and limited help. the rugby club is also prioritised over every society in the university which exaggerates a ‘lad’ culture that can be seen throughout the university

Highest ratio of trees to students in the country!!!!! Great campus and facilities, really pretty, forum kinda looks like an airport terminal. Interesting lectures if you go

Pretty decent uni, it's small so if your from a big city expect the size to be a big change, lots of societies to join but have monies to spend. Not that much diversity but easy to make friends. Wellbeing service is great

Expensive! Living costs and extra curricular activities are expensive. I had very few contact hours throughout and not one member of staff knows me after three years.

I love my university, it is beautiful and the atmosphere is amazing however, I feel that the lecturers do not truly wish to teach us, they seem unenthused about their topics and treat us with comptempt

The university s a bit of a mixed bag, I originally loved the it. Beautiful area, great place to study. But after working in the cleaning department I have witness how little the university cares about it’s students and workers, it really is all about money here.

The campus is really good, and most of the student halls are close by so in 1st year you’re never walking too far. The career zone is a good place to get your career starting. The university however is not for naive people if you’re a POC. People will be racist and not care that they’re being racist or derogatory because they know that they will not get in trouble.

Incredible staff and beautiful campus, the university offers so many interesting modules that you are constantly challenged academically. The welfare and support team are unmatched, the societies allow you to grow and the nightlife never ceases.

The university of Exeter undoubtedly has a good academic reputation and almost all of my professors have been great and supportive, and a lot of my classes have really engaged me and have genuinely been interesting overall. However the university also, quite rightfully, has a bad reputation for its lack of student diversity and elitism. It is a university full of privileged, upper-middle and upper class students, and it very much feels like a bigger private school than it does like a public university. So if like me you come from a state school, and particularly if you're politics is more left (even just centre-left), then maybe think of going somewhere else.

I really enjoy the university, some fantastic facilities for both teaching and sport. Shame about the hills, but that’s all I can complain about!

I love exeter. The hills and the trees in exeter are to die for. I love how friendly everyone is in the small town. actually, it’s not of a very small town as well! there are shops and nice places for leisure and food. furthermore, the campus is absolutely beautiful!

The campus is beautiful, however the buildings could use an upgrade. The engineering department if poorly organised and there are large discrepancies between the courses in the university. Overall it was alright, but would not consider studying here further and would not recommend. International students do not get much help in the college, possibly better on a university level.

The sport's societies in Exeter are absolutely great, possibly the best thing about the student experience. They organise great nights out and the training facilities are normally very good. Although Exeter doesn't have the best nightlife, it just has one or two clubs which are marginally good, but most students grow to love them. The facilities are pretty average, I would say very good for law and business but possibly not as good for some science degrees. The bar (The Ram) on site is pretty standard and is everything you'd expect from a student union bar. The on site club, The lemmy, however, is gross. I wouldn't say the organisation or careers services are pretty good, and the university is very strict with deadlines and assessments. There is definitely a bit of a rich man's culture at the university, so often students from poorer incomes can be left feeling quite out of place. The accommodation is nice, but very expensive.

Overall, Exeter has a great campus with excellent facilities, especially for sport. That said, a larger library/study space is needed, as whilst the current facilities are very good, finding a seat can be difficult. My course has got better over the three years that I have been here, with it becoming far more interesting in the third year. Regarding careers, the career zone put on many events for all industries. One major drawback I found in the first year was the standard of pastoral care, which in my opinion was lacking.
