As London's leading university for civic engagement, we make a real difference to the lives of our students and communities around the World. We believe that individuals working together can be a positive force for change. At UEL we give students the opportunity to take their education internationally. Our Going Global and Global Scholars initiatives actively encourage students to enhance their studies and develop different perspectives. In the last year, our students have been involved in projects in over 25 countries throughout Africa, The Americas and Asia.
It’s alright if you don’t want that uni lifestyle. I went when I was a bit older so was easy to focus and just go lectures, go library and back home to focus on anything else I had going on. Lectures can be nice and the sound of the plans arriving and elevating from the airport across the Thames is probably the only downfall especially if you’re in lectures
Studying Graphic Design (1st year) and it’s definitely not worth 9k. The art building is far from everything making it very hard for students to interact with other people. Wednesday is meant to be sport day but we have classes until sometimes 8. The afternoon especially is useless as we usually just watch a movie... some workshops are good but we didn’t do a lot of them, I also found some projects irrelevant. Long story short this wasn’t what I excepted from university and I’m very very disappointed.
