I haven't started yet but it has been a quick and easy process applying unlike the ucas and I will get to study in my own time by myself which is great, can't wait to start

Over all good university in an amazing location. The archaeology department is full of amazing and smart teachers, with an even more amazing number of staff willing to advise, help, and support students.

The English department was incredibly well run and all of the lecturers and professors were always welcoming and friendly. The tutor system was one of the best parts of the course as if enabled a one to one discussion about essays and any other course related work as well as providing an opportunity to discuss anything else that may have been important.

All in all I have had a pretty amazing experience so far, though I do believe the University is managed poorly in some ways. The university campus looks beautiful and there is plenty of study space in the libraries (except for exam time but imo it's as good as it can get right now). My main complaint would be that, something you wont notice while coming as a visitor, many things just feel cheap. For example, the science Library bathrooms. The science library is the second largest library of UCL, and it has a grand total of 3 male toilets. Mind you, this is a library which is supposed to harbour up to 500 people. As a result of this the toilets obviously are dirty at all time and can never be properly cleaned, thus they smell. Another result that due to their high usage they're prone to breaking, thus it's not uncommon to have one of the three toilets broken, while the other two are being cleaned (the cleaning also isn't a quick process obviously, therefore have been times where as a male you would need to leave the building in a range of up to two hours if you wanted to take a leek, which in my opinion is just plain ridiculous for a University which likes to claim to be one of the best in the world.) Apart from that I believe it's really important what course you're doing at my University, and though I've loved my course (natural sciences) so far, I have to admit is managed extremely poorly. It's a interdepartmental degree and the departments simply do no communicate. Some of my fellow students have had times where they had 6 exams as well as some assignments all in a single week which even for the most ordered and least procrastination keen person impossible to balance. I am highlighting the bad parts though, all in all I truly have had an amazing time at UCL and I'm more than happy to continue my studies there next year. To obtain that last star of mine however UCL does still need to address some issues.

Being the oldest university in London, UCL's campus is rather historical. All of the buildings are within 15 minutes of walk and the location is quite central. Over the past 10 years, the number of students at UCL has doubled and now the some of the premises are being reconstructed to offer more space.

The campus is amazing, looks pretty cool and there is plenty of space to rest in the sun while having lunch. There are lots of libraries, everybody can find their favourite. There are huuundreeeds of societies, in which everybody is more than welcome. However, uni should provide better IT facilities as the computers in clusters are unbelievably slow. My course (Civil engineeeing) is the best thing I could choose. Although the lectures are not as interesting as I thought, there is a lot of practise which I love (we just had a trip to Wales for two weeks to learn surveying - wonderful opportunity to make new friends and I also learnt more during this two weeks than during the whole year). Lots of practise give the opportunity to find a summer placement and develop yourself further. In general, although there are definitely some things UCL should improve, I'm pretty satisfied with this uni and my course.

University teaching staff for the biomedical faculty is mostly good, school facilities are pretty good and reasonably near each other. There’s also a string of a large range of vibrant activities going on in school all the time which is great for personal development.

The university is in a good area, central london. it is a bit of a downer to have 3 years of law school in a container building (bidborough) because bentham house was not ready, and we had to be everywhere for lectures.

UCL is overall an excellent university. The standard of teaching is very high, it is situated in a vibrant part of London and it is very easy to meet people. My main criticism would be one which applies to most London universities: the campus does feel quite crampt for space when you compare it with universities in other cities, and the student bars really need to be done up, they are pretty grotty. Also the bloomsbury fitness gym is very small and crampt, always quite busy and is in dire need of some air conditioning in summer!

UCL is a very good university with interesting and flexible courses. Despite the lack of campus, there are good facilities. The only downside is that all exams were in Excel, which were disorganised and often loud.

Career services are really helpful. It differs across departments but generally speaking lots of support is available ranging from CV checks to mock interviews. On top of what the university provides, lots of societies (EFS, Business Society) run workshops and mentor students.

good name reputation, mediocre teaching. uni is run as a business rather than as an educational institute by academics.

Very good uni in the heart of London. Amazing facilities and the learning is amazing. The lecturers are very knowledgable and have given us amazing feedback too. The library is huge which helps with all the research. It is also very quiet which helps with studying and completing assignements.

Very interesting course with many outstanding lecturers which taught me a lot of knowledge. The university located in central London will a mumber of variety in tube lines to travel. I had a lot of fun through out my time in the university, made a lot of friends which support me through ups and downs.

Can give postagrduates a better research experience. The campus is great and the student Union is very helpful atleast during the initial stage. Can help the postgraduates with placements better. When it comes to providing University accommodation to international students, they can be a little flexible with the application deadlines

The campus is just finished being redone and looks great. The academic delivery of courses are worth the money, although exam venues are placed everywhere. Halls are some of the better ones of the London universities and location/social life is great.

University College London is a great place to study. There are many labs with leading researchers that are keen on having student participate and help. Moreover UCL offers a wide variety of different activities and clubs that span the spectrum of topics from science to arts to sport.

The university isn't exactly tight-knit with over 40,000 students, but there's an overwhelming sense of pride and ambition in everything we do, and you'll meet some of the brightest and most kind people in your life here!

The University is great! The campus has a lot of facilities for the students. Most of the libraries are really nice and have a good amount of seating space. The Student Union is actually amazing! There is a really big number of clubs and societies so there is something for everyone!

Good academics, especially the amount of tutorials in years 1 and 2. We also got some in year 3. Facilities, particularly the labs for sciences were very good. The careers service could be a bit better though, it needs to be bigger with more appointments available each day and a shorter waiting list for mock interviews. Sports are good, and the social aspect on a Wednesday night is a lot of fun. However there are still occasionally undergraduate lectures at lunchtime on a Wednesday which clash with fixtures.

UCL is known to be one of the best universities in the world. Social life at this uni is nice, with a lot of places to go to nearby. However, one major negative appears during exam season since they have started to take place at ExCel London which is a fair distance away.

UCL is a great university in my opinion. It’s an excellent research university and the professors are one of the best in their respective fields. However, I believe for undergrad students the teaching level and support isn’t as great. The student union is superb and joining societies is a must!

Really good university with excellent teachers. I study psychology and love my course, good facilities and computers. It’s one of the top universities for psychology, especially for research. The careers service is good, you get lots of emails for opportunities.

The campus is in a good location in central London. Overall my experience at university has been very good apart from a lot of our lectures getting cancelled due to lecturers being on strike. Cling from a newer university where I did my undergrad I did think the facilities could be improved.
