I love being at this university! It has made me feel welcome and supportive, and on my history course I haven't had a single bad lecturer. The course has been very good, and the lecturers do their best to provide an interesting lecture every time and make it engaging. The staff also really care about your well being, and are always there to provide support and do so well

Plenty of sports and societies to get involved in and campus facilities are really good! Higher standard of accommodation and more for first years would be good but the private options in the city are excellent! L Chester is an underfunded uni but the support and opportunities it provides despite this are great!

Main campus is small but has everything on, close distance to the town centre. The SU holds a lot of events and has a variety of their own cocktails which everyone loves. Huge variety of sports and socials for all different kinds of students to get involved in

I love my course as it is interesting and the lecturers teach the course well. The main campus which I am based at is small which I like as it is easy to find your way around and there are lots of places to eat and drink in between lectures which I love

Good support from academic staff in all departments, I am studying nursing and the support we receive from the staff is brilliant. The library services at all campuses are brilliant, easy to use and very accessible. The events on main campus are always good, suitable for everybody and various themes suit everybody’s preferences.

Safe campus, everyone is welcome and friendly. The library is open 24/7 with a lovely atmosphere to study and work over assignments. Books are readily available online and hardback with friendly library staff to help. With the cafes on campus the staff are lovely and easily to get along with. A mixture of old and new buildings that mimics the architecture of chester it’s self. Located in the middle of a busy student hub and it is just over a five minutes walk from the town centre. All staff are always there to help and sports facilities are available to all. The SU is a great place to have a drink with some friends and Wednesdays are full of sports for all to enjoy!

Excellent on site facilities including lab space, bars, shops and sports facilities. The learning facilities such as the library are very good but could use a little more space. Staff are always helpful and encouraging. The student union bar is always good for a cheap way to start any night out.

The campus is small so everyone pretty much knows each other, the students are all friendly and the lecturers are very helpful. My only down side would be that there isn't that much parking for so it's like a massive fight trying to get a space. Other than this the university is great and I would recommend it to any student taking the step into Uni.

I study Sports and Exercise science at UoC. The staff is super friendly and the facilities are quite good too. The campus itself is small and feels quite homely. Even though chester is a small uni there is always something to do around here

The campus is small and quaint, easy to navigate. We have a lot of good facilities and a great student union. There are plenty of sports and societies to join and get involved with, plus the option to start your own. I do animal behaviour and it's interesting, lecturers are super kind and friendly, easy to approach and down to earth. The nightlife in Chester can be a little repetitive but that's the main negative.

The campus is a great location. Library always has enough space for peak times. The student union needs a redevelopment with the acts for SU Fridays

I did Zoo Management at Reaseheath College through The University of Chester and it was amazing and working with the animals and getting more experience was what I needed.

Some aspects of the course are not relevant however tutors do try and make it as enjoyable as possible, the support on placement can carry depending who your pef is but there is always someone you are able to talk to

The campus is really beautiful. There are a mixture of old and modern buildings and many gardens to enjoy waking around. There are two AstroTurfs which can be used by sport societies and can be used by students for their own activities. There is a spacious canteen that serves three delicious meals per day. Student accommodation is also on site so it’s only a two minute walk to lectures in a morning which is great.

Newer campuses are well equipped, modern and well maintained. Main campus (parkgate) however needs updating, some lecture theaters do not have tables in and you have to write on your lap, molloy and beswick buildings are in particular is awful lecture theaters. It is often that the same rooms always have techical difficulties. Little gripe but only two water fountains on campus and its annoying not being able to fill up your water bottle without walking to the other end of campus. Whites building food is awful do not eat there

The campus is nice, compact and high quality, as is the SU bar. However, the library is small and there is very limited copies of the same book - making it difficult to get some when there are several people doing the same essay question. In addition to this, the administration services are very slow and efficiently poor.

The engineering lectures are made up of very small groups that allows for conversation and discussion with lecturers, aswell as a huge amount of support. The university are constantly running employment improvement classes, which allows students to gain skills that are appealing to employers. In addition the range of campuses allows for socialising with like minded people on similar courses, as well as mixing with people on different courses on main campus where most students live. I feel like Chester offers a unique student experience that i would highly recommend you check out for yourself!

The campus itself is lovely, the library has just been redone and it's massive, lots of space to just sit and concentrate when needed. The Student Union is a little small but they have a great choice of drinks including their own creations such as a Banterlad, really nice and gets you drink quick!

Over all, the experience is great. The library is very big with lots of seating areas as well as computers to do research as well as the other facilities that they have.
