The University of Cambridge is known worldwide for the excellence of its teaching and research and the quality of its graduates. Undergraduate teaching consists of a variety of lectures, seminars and practical classes, as well as more personalised teaching arranged through the Colleges. There are a range of courses for postgraduate students, including taught courses, courses offering research training and skills and other research opportunities. All students freely interact with scholars of all levels, including those who are world leaders in their field, both formally and informally.

I study astrophysics in my third year. The course is excellent, really interesting content, difficult at times, but excellent support throughout. Lectures are interesting and supervisions very useful. Can attend a variety of extra talks/seminars on cutting edge of research at the moment so really good if you're looking to pursue a PhD

Excellent for studying, lots of knowledgable lecturers who are kind and approachable. Facilities and libraries are all excellent, love the rugby club.

I have found the organisation of my course, the number of contact hours, the teaching staff and lecturers all to be pretty incredible. The careers service is also extremely helpful! I think facilities with respect to sport as well as up to date scientific equipment in the labs to be slightly below what could be expected at a world class uni but not significantly poor.

Fantastic facilities, rooms are good. Rents are expensive. Cost of living in the city is generally high but college bars arent too expensive. Good sports teams availability and good sports facilities although this does vary significantly between colleges.

Beautiful people and atmosphere. Buzzes with ideas and always busy. People never fail to surprise. Aesthetically beautiful, with societies and lectures to suit anyone and everyone

In my college everyone was very welcoming and supportive. The services available to aid both academically and personally are exceptional and helped me and many others settle well into uni life.

The campus of the University of Cambridge is one of the best in the UK. Instead of a main campus building like other Universities, we have many different colleges and department buildings. This allow students from different backgrounds and those who study different courses to interact and socialise with one another. The University also provide supervisions to students, which acts as an opportunity for students to discuss and ask questions on related topics of their course with professors and experts in the field.

Fantastic institution; rich in culture and with an inclusive atmosphere. Academically, the university is among the very best, with teaching carried out in lectures and small group supervisions by world leading academics. Socially, colleges provide hubs of activity which promote bonding between subjects, as well as a focus of competition, particularly with sport. Facilities for learning and extracurricular activities are of the highest standard.

As a law student I have very little work, so I can't really empathise with those who say Cambridge is stressful or work intensive.

The university has the reputation of one of the best in the world for a good reason. The rigor of the course is second to none and it is of course extremely challenging but the teaching system makes keeping up with the workload possible. The supervision system (one-to-two/three group teaching) means you can acquire a deep level of understanding and excel at your course.

The work is very challenging because we have not only have lectures (like every other uni) but we also have Supervisions and work to do for these supos. Overall social life is better than expected. Lots of fun! Loads of sport clubs and societies to get involved in. Love the college set up.

The campus is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. The facilities are top quality, although some of the food is a bit expensive. I barely notice the student union's existence but there is so much else to get involved with that it doesn't matter. So far I haven't used the career services but there is a wide variety of talks and events on offer all the time.

The college environment is fantastic and forms an excellent support structure to form friendships and to maintain emotional support of students.

Very different experience from other universities. Your college will be somewhat your home away from home where you get your meals together with your friends in the dining hall and attend themed parties. Workload is pretty heavy. Have to keep the balance between work and fun or you'll feel left behind. Overall, a very fun experience

The second oldest university of England has one of the best campuses. The buildings are spread out, and there are no 'boundary' of the university. The distinctive supervision system gives you the opportunity to meet and discuss with academics regularly. The quality of lectures are mostly superb, but there can be subjects which you can find slightly boring.

Super supportive, and genuinely want you to succeed. Cambridge have backed me through many hard times, and have always made me feel welcome at the university, even when I myself didn’t feel I belonged. Facilities are modern and well equipped, and teaching is of a superb quality.

Beautiful campus, traditional buildings, the entire city is worth exploring. Courses are mainly flexible, teaching great, albeit could do with more contact hours
